Bassik Park is family friendly space in the heart of Disco Circus. Every July it thousands of people flock the park for the Spectrum City’s Jazz Fusion festival, which celebrates the best in Jazz and Jazz Fusion.

Americano Ave is party central for Opus City Latin population, plenty of cool bars and hangouts playing a fusion of classics, commercial house and Latin infused music.

Frantic and manic is the best way to describe this neighbourhood, It used to be controlled by gangs but the recent expansion of the university has made this a popular student hangout. Expect wild things to happen as drunk students rampage through the streets.

12th Street is the favourite haunt of the low riders and custom cruisers. Every night the coolest cars and bikes cruise this strip, playing their sounds out loud. Word to the wise, if you aren’t packing some serious heat you may want to avoid 12th street at night.

Funky boutiques and quirky coffee shops make this a great spot to shop and catch up with friends. Not surprising then that this is the neighbourhood that attracts all the women.

This neighbourhood is a melting pot for the city dwellers, People from all walks of life gravitate to Goodtimes St to work, play and chill.

This is a laid back and cool neighbourhood, its world famous for its coffee shops where you will be treated to chilled out Nu Funk. Don’t forget to sample the space cakes.

This once vibrant neighbourhood has been rather neglected in recent years. Many of the families who once lived there have left and the streets have been taken over by gun toting gangs. Caution this is a very rough hood and only the brave should enter. We advise you have your Gat strapped if you venture that way.

This neighbourhood has become popular with the young and trendy. Candy Ave is the birthplace of the Candy Flip, a cocktail that will tear your head off and leave you feeling all warm and fluffy. The best Candy Flip in town is served at Mel’s Nano Bar, a popular dance bar on the main strip.

Dusty St is the favourite haunt for those looking for a vintage bargain in the many kooky thrift stores. Don’t be surprised to find a celebrity DJ or two riffling through the second hand records for a Jem.

Heartache Avenue is beautiful long and winding walk along the river. There are plenty of great bars and coffee shops to people watch. This is a very popular bohemians hangout especially on a Thursday night when many of the bars have live bands and DJs play.

Deep in the warehouse district is Hardcore Ave, there are very few residential properties in this neighbourhood so after dark it is deserted. Or so you would think, every weekend sound systems occupy the abandoned warehouses and throw illegal parties. If you want to attend one then you will need to meet at the station after dark and await further instructions.
