Allison and Eric again join me, this time to break down a Coen Brothers' classic, Raising Arizona. We discuss if this is the "most Coen Brothers" of all Coen Brothers movies, get into some trivia and assorted nonsense, before jumping into what is quickly becoming our favorite segment: Recasterbate. There are some surprisingly great casting options if this movie was remade today. It's a recasting debate. Recasterbate. Get it? Oh well. Also, you'll never guess who failed to win the How Much Are They Worth? game.

Allison and Eric join me to breakdown another Chicago classic, The Fugitive. We decide if this is a Harrison Ford movie or a Tommy Lee Jones movie, dive deep into some great movie trivia, propose some interesting modern casting ideas in 'Recasterbate,' and are absolutely shocked by the net worth of one of the movie's actors in the 'How Much Are They Worth?' game.

After some time off - OK, a long time off - we're back with some upgraded software and a whole new format. This is Part 1 of a two-part breakdown of Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

After another long hiatus (hey, we're not getting paid for this), Mike and Ruff join me for a brand new episode that features some annoying technical issues (which we've since resolved, but the fix won't be employed until episode 50) and the debut of the theme song for Mike's segment...one of my best efforts as producer. And remember: #iloveus.

Back from some time off, Michelle, Mike and Ruff join me for a lively episode that includes a couple new segments and an introduction to "Living My Best Life" - a song you may never forget; and will rue the day you first heard it.

After WAAAAAYYYY too much time away, the Pubcast is finally back. The last time we tried to come back, we recorded a great episode, only to have technical issues destroy it. This time, we got it right. Consider this episode a dumping ground of many of the random ideas I've had over the past few months. Mike, Ruff and I jump from topic to topic, trying out potential new segments and weeding out a couple of duds. Overall, I think we shook off the rust pretty well.

Mike, Tim and my wife, Allison, join me for part two of our deep dive into HBO's Westworld, where we dissect all of the major plot points and characters. If you like the show, you'll enjoy this episode. If you haven't seen Westworld, this probably isn't the episode for you. That said, the second half of the episode includes a funny version of the "How Much Are They Worth" game. Do I break my losing streak? Tune in to find out. The format will evolve over time, but basically, Rob believes he has an instinct about which celebrities stink. We put that to the test with a March Madness-style bracket matchup. Hilarity ensues.

Mike Crosse and Tim Trotter join Brendan to discuss HBO's new big-budget show Westworld. After seeing the first two episodes, we explain the basic premise, some of the obvious themes (what is humanity, etc.) and provide our impressions of the characters and plot so far. If you're not watching this show yet, it's worth your time.

Rob Nash, Chris Ruffolo and Mike Crosse join Brendan as we revisit some of the baseball predictions that Mike and Ruff made back in March. Playing back some clips from that show, Ruff pretty much nailed his Cubs predictions and Mike pretty much blew both his Cubs and White Sox predictions...or at least that's how we framed it. We also discuss "vaguebooking," the "How Much Are They Worth?" game theme is 'people who played the President on screen,' and Rob again tantalizes us with his focus on which celebrities stink. Programming Note: We plan to devote an entire show to this "smell" topic, so stay tuned. It's going to be amazing!

Chris Ruffolo and Rob Nash join me to discuss the NFL season. I know I missed the first week, but I make my picks for each division winner and Wild Card. Ruff explains why he's pretty much done with the NFL and we also just barely touch on the Kaepernick situation, hopefully avoiding the dumb discussions the media has perpetuated over the past 3 weeks. Michelle and Mike join Brendan for an update on their Midwestern vacations and we play Riley's Rules with the help of my sons and their particular brand of "Would You Rather." Toward the end, we get a special revelation about VCRs which blew my mind.
