Tune in for our recap of the F1 Australian Grand Prix! A bunch of Formula 1 drivers have ramped up their complaining in the media.  Did you know Melbourne has 4 seasons in 1 day?  This race almost felt like it had 4 seasons of standing starts in 1 day.  Michael Masi showed up in the paddock.  Fun Valtteri was living his best life.  Sergio Perez was living in the gravel.  F1 needs to update its GPS app.  Nico Hülkenberg did his thing again on Saturday.  Fans were treated to a NASCAR finish on Sunday.  Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton played cat and mouse the whole race.  Does anybody know what Kevin Magnussen was doing? This was a very fun, unique, and crazy race!

Tune in for our preview of the F1 Australian Grand Prix! We kick things off with recent news about Lewis Hamilton and long-time trainer Angela Cullen parting ways, Jenson Button and Kimi Raikkonen racing in NASCAR, and Mercedes and McLaren shaking up their technical departments. The race at Albert Park will be the 350th Formula 1 Grand Prix for Red Bull Racing and 361st for Fernando Alonso!  No Aussie has ever won their home race (except Valtteri Bottas who claims this is almost a home race for him).  Will Oscar Piastri be able to dazzle in front of his home crowd?  Will the cooler temps shake up strategy?  Will we see a podium that doesn't include Max Verstappen, Sergio Perez, and Fernando Alonso? Crack open your Foster's beer cans and get ready to race down under!

Tune in for our breakdown of the F1 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix! The stewards had themselves a weekend with grid penalties, curious lap time deletions, and a confusing podium shuffle then reset.  Sergio Perez had a stellar Saturday and Sunday.  Max Verstappen and papa Jost were not happy with second place.  Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin did battle with the stewards.  Viewers were treated to some late action near the back of the order. Overall, it was an interesting Formula 1 race weekend, and the drama is beginning to build!

Tune in for our recap of the F1 Bahrain Grand Prix! The 2023 Formula 1 season is officially underway.  Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen are still answering questions about the "Suck My Balls" incident but are rubbing and tugging and hugging their way through it.  Fernando Alonso put on a show all weekend.  David Coulthard's jawline was on full display.  The entire field is very bunched up this year and should lead to an exciting season.  Ferrari are still doing Ferrari things.   The race gave us an excited Fernando Alonso storming his way to a podium finish.  Esteban Ocon broke almost every rule in the book as Oconvict stacked up 35 seconds worth of penalties.  Mercedes struggled to keep pace with the frontrunners, and Toto Wolff, Lewis Hamilton, and George Russell were all voicing their concerns. Buckle up because this is going to be another fun season on and off the track!

Tune in for our breakdown of the F1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix! The weekend was all about Formula 1 farewells, and Sebastian Vettel did not disappoint (along with his father Norbert). Mick Schumacher said goodbye to Haas by doing doughnuts then being scolded by his team. The flyover before the race was epic along with the insane fireworks show at the checkered flag. The podium disappointed with a dusty trophy and flat rose water sprays. We also applaud Carlos Sainz's radio and critique this lackluster track. The offseason has begun, but Purple Sector will be here with all the breaking news, fun bits, and our Purple Sector Awards to close out the year!

This is the Formula 1 season finale, and there are tons of fights to watch: Ferrari versus their engine and the Abu Dhabi curse, Fernando Alonso versus Esteban Ocon, Mercedes versus Ferrari, lots of drivers versus team orders, and Ted Kravitz versus the ghost of Abu Dhabi past. We will also be saying many farewells with Sebastian Vettel, Daniel Ricciardo, Mick Schumacher, and Nicholas Latifi leaving Formula 1. The last 7 winners here have come from Pole Position, and we hope the windy weekend will buck that trend. We also hope that Michael Masi will wave the checkered flag at Yas Marina Circuit.

This weekend had it all: Kevin Magnussen getting Pole Position, Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen contact again, George Russell winning the F1 Sprint and race, and teammates bickering all over the radio! We discuss lots of specialty helmets celebrating Brazil. Fun Valtterri Bottas was in full effect rocking his Movember moustache. The metal Ayrton Senna statue and its nostrils got tons of TV time. Lando Norris got sick again. Ferrari made more strategy blunders. Fernando Alonso hit his "friend" Esteban Ocon. Sebastian Vettel was "OK" with Lance Stroll's dangerous move. Max Verstappen made things "clear" regarding team orders. Charles Leclerc was begging for points from Carlos Sainz. Toto Wolff will not be calling or vlogging into this episode.

Tune in for our breakdown of the F1 Mexico City Grand Prix! Max Verstappen shut out Sky Sports and dominated in Mexico City. Fernando Alonso had a failure and lashed out at his Alpine's reliability. Valtteri Bottas bubbled back to the surface. Toto Wolff brought 1990 villian chic to the paddock. Daniel Ricciardo wrecked Yuki Tsunoda en route to a fantastic finish. Danica Patrick was moving and grooving to Martin Garrix. The party podium delivered, but the trophies disappointed.

Tune in for our preview of the F1 Mexican Grand Prix! Red Bull got hammered for exceeding the cost cap last season. They were fined $7,000,000 and hit with a 10% reduction in car development time for their 2023 car. Aston Martin was fined $450,000 for their overspending on catering, desks, and chairs. Fernando Alonso also got back his 7th place in the United States Grand Prix, and Lewis Hamilton wants a multi-year contract. Buckle up for the festival that is the Formula 1 Mexico City Grand Prix! Drivers are posing with the scary sugar skull mascot and making guacamole. The stadium section on this track always brings the energy and an epic party on the podium. The thin air of Mexico City also brings exciting racing and potential reliability issues. Prep your Mexican Ashtrays for Formula Brunch. Vamos!

This race weekend had everything: loads of special helmets, appropriation of cowboy culture, Silly Season news, W Series news, Brad Pitt, and great racing! Antonio Giovinazzi gave us a Mick Schumacher impression into the wall in Free Practice. Carlos Sainz and his hair blew their way to Pole Position. Max Verstappen won another race, and Red Bull clinched the Formula 1 Constructors' Championship. Race in peace, Dietrich Mateschitz.
