On September 20th Hurricane Maria made landfall near Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, as a major Category 4 hurricane around 6:15 a.m. ET with 155 mph winds, according to the National Hurricane Center. It was the first Category 4 storm to hit the island since 1932.
