This week's episode was recorded a long time ago (2015) in a galaxy far, far away (Wood Green, North London). What we have here is two Star Wars conversations- with Paul and I discussing 'The Empire Strikes Back' and me and Jev talking about 'Return of the Jedi'- originally released on my OG podcast, the SpielbergPod. And listening back to these, 2015 was an interesting time to be a Star Wars fan as we are all eagerly awaited the release of 'The Force Awakens' and the start of the sequel trilogy (oh, what a journey we were about to begin...).

In this episode- recorded all the way back in 2022 ("The best things come to those who wait" - Heinz Ketchup) - Kieran and I discuss the Martin Scorsese film, 'The King of Comedy', following Kieran's first-time watch of this. You can expect comparisons to 'Taxi Driver' and even more comparisons to 'Joker' from Todd Phillips.

In this episode- again from our Boxing Day recording sesh- Lee, Amanda and I discuss the iconic 'the red car and the blue car had a race' commercial for mid-tier chocolate bar Milky Way. As you would imagine, we spend most of the episode discussing chocolate bars we like/ dislike.

In this episode, recorded live and in person with my siblings (Amanda and Lee) on Boxing Day 2023, we discuss the 1989 'Magical Place' advert for Toys R Us.

This week Easy Riders Raging Podcast reaches it's landmark 300th episode!!! And to celebrate, my co-host Paul and I are discussing Bruce Robinson's cult classic, 'Withnail and I'. You can expect a lot of quotes (it's a very quotable film) and lots of anecdotes from our past. In this episode, recorded back in December, I was delighted to be joined by Jeff Morton- host of the fantastic The GenX Show- to discuss the life and career of filmmaker John Carpenter, with particular focus on his 1987 film, 'Prince of Darkness'. This was a great opportunity to continue our ongoing look at Carpenter's movies (we have covered several of his films at this point) and it was great to finally sit down and record an episode with Jeff. I've no idea why we didn't do this sooner but I look forward to bringing him back again for another chat. Up next: Episode 300!

In this episode- recorded just before Christmas- I'm joined by not one but two very special guests to discuss a very special film. The film in question- which incidentally turns 40 years old this year(!)- is 'Ghostbusters' from director Ivan Reitman. My fantastic guests are Dave Corkery from The Cinemile podcast and Liam Dempsey, one of the hosts of Spocklight: A Star Trek Podcast. And the three of us are all huge fans of this movie and we could have easily talked for double the length of this episode on our thoughts and feelings for this stone cold classic and the films which have proceeded it (we even touch briefly on 'Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire' which comes out later this year).

This week Paul and I dance with the devil in the pale moonlight by discussing Tim Burton's 'Batman' and Paul is the perfect guest to discuss this film as he's a big fan of The Caped Crusader; so he talks about how he got into the character, his history with the comics, the various movies and we basically have a great chat about a classic comic book movie.
