Meet Casper!  Casper is a 1 year old male Pit Bull Terrier mix and he is one of the happiest dogs you will ever meet! Casper loves other dogs, people, toys and treats, and just everything!! He is one of our longer shelter residents and really needs to get out and find his forever family. We think Casper would fit into almost any kind of family and keep everyone smiling. Navia and Oreo are two perfect pups who really need to get out of the shelter and into their forever homes. Navia is a one-year-old caramel swirl; Oreo's an 8-month-old fudge swirl. They play super well together, but don't need to be adopted together, though we don't think they'd mind hanging out and snuggling on the couch after wearing themselves out with an enthusiastic romp around your backyard. These two fantastic dogs have special reasons why they are featured this week: Navia is our longest term adoptable dog - she's been with us since April of this year, though we really don't understand why she hasn't been snapped up. She plays well with everybody and was a champion in her 4th of July foster home. Oreo is a newer resident, but he finds the shelter environment very stressful and hurts himself in his kennel. Bubby is a male terrier-mix. He arrived at the shelter last September and is still searching for his forever home! Since he joined us, we have learned that Bubby is deaf. He has shown us that he is a mild-mannered gentleman who enjoys his walks in the afternoon sunshine and all the attention he can get. As you can tell from his photos, Bubby has no problem lounging around the office as he’s become one of our favorites! Bubby has been neutered and is up to date on all his vaccinations.
