Introduction of the Confidence Series Difference between Confidence and Confident Expectations  Isaiah 48:6-7 You have heard my predictions and seen them fulfilled, but you refuse to admit it. Now I will tell you new things, secrets you have not yet heard. They are brand new, not things from the past. So you cannot say, ‘We knew that all the time!’ 

We gotta pick a struggle. You either believe or you don't 1. Double Talk- We can't speak outta both sides of our mouth 2. Negative Talk 3. Doubt 4. Comparison The more the catapult is stretched, the greater the stones' distance. Persevere during the stretch.  Joshua 1:9 This is my command—be strong and courageous! Romans 8:25 Waiting for what we do not see. 5 ways in which you can push through your obstacles. 1. Prayer 2. Deliberate: Act without fear 3. Find a way to maintain your enthusiasm. Remember your why 4. Just one more time. No(s) are stepping stones. Try just one more time, that might just be the charm. 5. Be intentional in your thoughts. Quiet the voice of the resistance

Isaiah 40:31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint Characteristics of Eagles that believers can emulate. 1. Hang with like minds 2. Laser Focused vision 3. Faces the storm head on Waiting doesn't mean inactivity. It means working in total dependence on him  

Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But not with God. Everything is possible with God.” 1.Own It: Embrace To Fight 2. Who Are You: Know You are more than a conqueror 3. Push Through Anyway: Mindset shift.

"Only In the Darkness can you see the stars." Being left in our dark can sometimes cause our attitudes to changes. We fight against our discomfort because we need to be in control at all times. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. 9 We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. 10 Through suffering, our bodies continue to share in the death of Jesus so that the life of Jesus may also be seen in our bodies.'    

In this episode of Anchor Talk we look at one of the most popular verses in the Bible. John 3:16. That verse is love in its purest most sacrificial form. How do we respond to that love? How are we supposed to respond to it? Through faith and hope. Belief and Trust. He loves us and everything about us and our well being is His utmost concern. We can never go wrong putting our Hope in Him. Let His love provide the perfect anchor for your soul. Confident Expectations of a future fulfillment is guaranteed by His love.
