We discuss why the current weather is Leigh's fault, we RIP one person and RIT another. Of course we talk about the AFC and NFC championship games and give our takes one what happened in the end. Afro Beer Chick talks about how she got into craft beer, her awesome blog about craft beer and what people are looking to get into craft beer should do. News of the Weird gets into Toto's Africa and escaped Rodeo Cows and of course we end every show as always with some great Take It or Leave It Topics.

In this episode the gang welcomes special guest Joey Bag of Donuts from the Bag of Donuts Podcast. We talk making Margaritas in an Italian Restaurant and find out who won this season's college pick'em. Joey tries to explain what the hell is going on with the Steelers and we discuss who will win the AFC and the NFC championship games. News of the Weird brings you a nudist restaurant closing and getting banned from Walmart for drinking wine out of a Pringles Can. We've got new oreo flavors, Lindsay Lohan, the Goodyear Blimp, the Vatican Track team and fans put there money where their mouth is in Take It or Leave It. Grab a donut, a beer or a pringles can full of wine and listen along.

In this episode we finish out the College Football season with special guest former Kentucky Football player Van Hiles. Unfortunately we start out 2019 with four RIP's but Van helps bring the show back up with Carrie and Leigh and their assessment of Kentucky's Citrus Bowl win and what that means for the team going forward. We pick the last college football game of the season and discuss the merits of the live mascot. We bring the science in news of the weird this week and we have some very lively debate on Take It or Leave It.

We are closing out the year with a brand new episode and an awesome guest, entertainer, musician, teacher, blogger, writer, sports dork and all around great guy Tucker Booth! Tucker joins us to pick one of our last college bowl pick'ems of the year, we talk what it takes to be successful at a rap battle and how to make it in LA. New of the Weird asks what would you do if a guy broke into your house when you weren't there and of course we've got all the New Year's topics you can handle on Take It or Leave It. In this episode we welcome Texan, author, musician and more importantly X-Files fan Jackie Anders to the show to talk about her great books which are now available and how she got into writing. Lauren buys Leigh and Carrie some awesome Christmas gifts and Carrie discovers and loses her mind over Lofi Hip Hop. The College Bowl pick'em continues. In this episode we step out of Stanley Manor Studios to a remote location, specifically Carrie's home away from home Shamrock Bar and Grill. But, we aren't just recording remotely we are podcasting for a cause and raising money for God's Pantry in Lexington. In addition to recording in our favorite bar we get to welcome back into the fourth chair our friend Fred Jones. In this episode we welcome Amy Harris to the show for two firsts, the first Chef we've ever had on and the first person to never drink anything either non-alcoholic or alcoholic. Our minds are straight in the gutter with Carrie's choice of beer. Lauren talks about her trip to Louisville ComicCon, Carrie explains why she was wearing a Santa Onesie and Leigh has her say on the CFB Playoff. Amy gives us the lowdown on what it's like to work in a kitchen and if those reality cooking shows are really giving us an accurate picture. We pick the final regular CFB game, two important RIP's, why 14 is important to Carrie, two dead news of the weird stories and of course Take It or Leave It.

In this episode Leigh is back in the studio and we have two in house guests. Our girl Elle from New York, making her third appearance on the show and Kyle Sutton, making his second guestomer appearance to tell us all about the importance of Movember. We have a special GBS PSA this week, Carrie finally gets her car back and Elle explains why she thinks Kroger is a tourist attraction. College football ain't over and neither is our pick'em. The title of this one says it all. Unfortunately Leigh couldn't join Lauren and Carrie in Stanley Manor Studios for this week's episode, however, they are joined via phone from California, sports blogger extraordinaire Jim Jax. Jim gives a bit of an update on the California Wildfires and lets us in on some facts about the late great Roy Clark that we had no idea about. The college football regular season comes to a close with our week 13 pick'em, and Jim gets to pick for Leigh. We talk to Jim about his interesting/inspirational story of coming from a sports family, going into the medical field and then coming back to sports all the while creating his own brand. The news of the weird gets kind of weird and a little gross. And of course Take It or Leave It mixes in some Thanksgiving topics. We've got all kinds of beer and all of our usual nonsense.

In this episode we are joined by Connecticut radio personality Florence Carmela. We find out what Guns n Roses weather is, Leigh learns to take a complement about the Browns and there is an update about Carrie's car. We have two big RIP's in the world of sci-fi and comics, along with the week 12 College Football Pick'em. Florence tells us her inspirational story about how she is following her dream working in radio for WEBE 108 FM and WICC 600 AM in Connecticut, two radio stations she grew up with. It's an inspirational story of persistence and believing in yourself. We have a sweet news of the weird story between an Emu and a Donkey and of course as always we finish with some Take It or Leave It. Some interesting beers on the table this week, but you're gonna hafta listen to hear about those.

In this episode Lauren, Leigh and Carrie are joined by Brett and Bethaney from the Derby City Curling Club, The Commonwealth's first ever curling club. We get an update on Carrie's car, everyone discusses the time change and we find out about an awesome addition to Stanley Manor Studios. Week 11 pick'em where we make fun of the birds with teeth for dropping 77, then Brett and Bethaney talk all about the Derby City Curling Club and how if you're interested in learning to curl in the Commonwealth you can get involved! That leads into the news of the weird, which is frankly really weird this week and of course we finish off with Take It or Leave It including Thanksgiving Flavored Pringles, Celebrity Crocs and breaking the World Record for pull ups. In this episode old Leigh is back and her, Carrie and Lauren are joined by three peat guestomer Matt Gordon. Lauren almost stabs herself trying to open the sharing beer, Carrie explains why hitting a dead deer on the interstate isn't good for your car, Leigh gives us her take on the Browns firing coaches in the middle of the season yet again and Matt explains why Clemson doesn't really storm the field. The news of the weird gets really weird with belly button jerky, Carrie drops a half an F bomb in Take It or Leave It and we come up with more episode titles in this one than we have room for. Lee and Damon give us the low down on LPS's new show History Alive and instead of the news of the weird this week they tell us some of their best ghost encounter stories. In addition to all of this, Carrie takes one for the GBS team by drinking a pumpkin beer with Lauren, "new" Lee does this week's pick'em for "old" Leigh, the Ft. Lewis tailgate tent gets an RIP, and of course plenty of Take It or Leave It goodness. No tricks, all treats in this one!

In this episode we welcome Sara and Renee from Bluegrass Bourbon and Eats back to the show for their second appearance. We've got all the college football pick'em action you could want. Sara and Renee tell us what they've been up to since their last appearance and talk about some must go to places to eat here in the Central Kentucky area. The news of the weird features Leigh's hometown and also a squirrel. And on this episode's take it or leave it we mix in some Halloween candy with all our other topics. Leigh makes it the whole show even though she's super surly, Lauren's in rare form and Carrie manages not to get the thick tongue.

In this episode Lauren, Carrie and Leigh are joined by semi-pro women's football player Carolyn Drover. They continue the conversation they had with Louis Ojeda Jr. in episode 132 about women playing football and Carolyn brings some interesting first hand insight to the topic. Leigh and Carrie air some grievances about the Kentucky vs Texas A&M game and Lauren and Carrie both pick a potential upset in the week 7 pick'em, but for different reasons. Lauren gets excited about the GBS logo that she designed going fast on a race car, Carrie's tongue gets a little thick on the the GBS news of the weird read due to some 15% pumpkin beer and Leigh doesn't even make it to the end of the episode, but that's ok cause our guest does a great job filling in for her on Take It or Leave It!

Lauren follows through with her threat promise and brings the first pumpkin beer of October to the table.
