Deep down we all have the desire to have the courage of a true hero. To have the truly heroic courage we must understand what it looks like to have: 1 No Courage; The Counterfeit Courage; True Heroic Courage of David & Jesus…

It is hard to obey when we are depressed, fearful or worried about our reputation, but we can overcome these obstacles when we are available , seek Godly counsel, listen, and worship God with our action.

Waiting on God is hard, but necessary as God often makes wait in order to experience his presence and develop his heart.

We will not have peace in our hearts until we recognize God is our king & our allegiance is to him & his kingdom and nothing else.

God's word will not break but can break us in a good way, or a bad way.

Our lives are often a mess because of sin under the surface of our lives that we don’t see or recognize because we don’t take God at his word, overestimate the power of our enemies, and underestimate the power of God.

This Sunday we will be discussing 1 Corinthians 13 as Pastor Dave talks about "The Love Check" in this chapter. Pray for the Holy Spirit to touch your life with this week's message and prepare for his work in your heart be reading this passage before service on Sunday

This Sunday we begin a short series of stand alone messages. This Sunday we will be discussing Romans 8:5-17 which presents a contrasts the life that follows the "Father" of This World/The Flesh versus the life of those who are adopted into the family of God. Please prepare for this Sunday by reading our text.

This Sunday, as we continue our new sermon series Empowered, we celebrate mothers with a small gift. This week we are discussing Acts 16:16-36, 40 and will be learning principles that Mom's and Grand Mom's (really all of us) for "Empowered Parenting."

This week we begin a new series called the Empowered Life as we begin a short study of the book of Acts. This week we will discuss Acts 5:12-40 and Pastor Dave's message will be "The Empowered Community" as he discusses they way Christ's resurrection empowered these first Christians and our lives today.

This is Easter Sunday! He Is Risen! He Is Risen Indeed!!! Today we will be discussing John 20:1-18 and Luke 7:36-50. In these passages will will learn why it was so important for Mary Magdalene to "see" Jesus while celebrating the way He removed the thorns from her life--just as he removes the thorns from our life through His cross and resurrection.

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and we will be discussing Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem as we look at Luke 19:41-48. In this passage we will learn how to live with prophetic significance as we courageously live like Christ and proclaim His way in our world! Here are some questions for you to beg in to think about:

This message shares with us how Christ exemplifies Servant-Leadership. On the heels of the disciples new on going argument, "who is the greatest in the kingdom"; Christ shows us via this account how He doesn't call us to success or seats but to service. Christ does not call us to be Jr. Executives in the Kingdom but He does call us to service. In this text Christ paints a picture perfect example of what we as the church are called to do; service. Christ calls us not to argue over position of power, prestige and potency; but Christ does require that we serve Him through serving one another. Because of His love for us Jesus descended from the heights and bounds of eternity; emptying Himself of some of His glory to take on the form of a servant. His Servant-Leader model in this text is the standard for true Christian Service.

This Sunday we are installing the pastor/elders or leaders of our church. Please Read Luke 15:11-32 as we discuss nine leadership insights from: The Parable of The Perfect Father. These 9 characteristics of leadership will not only benefit the leadership capacity of our pastor/elders but you as well!

Jesus in His Sermon on the Plain shares with those present and us to day that we should be discerning and cautious about those who claim to come from God. Some people believe that they are not accountable for what they do not know or for being misinformed; the Bible does not teach this. Christ shares with us in Matthew 15:14 when the blind lead the blind both fall into a ditch. Christ shares with us a word of warning telling us how to make the distinction between those who are truly called and those who are treacherous charlatans. The good news is that even though in the post-God, post-Christ, post-Church, postmodern era; we take solace in the fact that regardless of what problem/ false prophet comes our way, we have a faithful and trusted prophet in the person of the Lord Christ!

Christ shares with us in this text how to respond when we are attacked by the world's scare tactics. Christ call us not to respond as the world but to respond in a way that exemplifies His Love and Grace.
