Is the Perth property party over? Ashleigh Goodchild reveals her insights. Following a decade in the doldrums, property values in Perth soared nearly 26% from the COVID trough to the July 2022 peak, and following a minimal correction, property prices in WA have continued to soar to new all time highs, with growth of just under 20% in the last 12 months, creating total growth of 56% since COVID commenced.  So It appears that WA is in the midst of the perfect property storm, as national buyers agents and interstate investors pile into the affordable West in a self-fulfilling feeding frenzy. According to Todd Hadley PRD Managing Director, each property market across Australia is currently moving at various speeds and directions regardless of whether an area is located closer to a capital city or is regional.   This is pointed out in PRD’s latest  Australian Economic and Property Report.  Todd says…“we are seeing different markets recording varying levels of price growth, while simultaneously, in other areas, prices are declining.
