Our Scripture for today comes from John 3:30, and today's worship is Left It In the Water by We The Kingdom. -- Being intentional about what we do with our time is a wonderful way to honor God as we begin this new year. Surrendering superiority
13/01/2023 Duración: 08minAs we’re drawing closer to the end of our week on humility, today we’re going to look at the importance of counting others as more significant than ourselves. Pride comes so naturally for all of us, but if we are going to live a life of humility, we must learn to look up at God rather than look down at others. Allow God to redirect your attention today and continue to transform you in his presence. Our Scripture for today comes from Philippians 2:3, and today's worship is Resurrender by Hillsong Worship. -- Being intentional about what we do with our time is a wonderful way to honor God as we begin this new year. Living in awe of God
11/01/2023 Duración: 10minPrayer can sometimes feel daunting. How do you pray? What do you pray for? Did God hear my prayer? Is he going to answer my prayer? Today we’re going to look at God’s invitation to pray vulnerably and honestly. We don’t have to earn the right for God to hear us. And we don’t have to pray the perfect prayer for him to answer us. Let’s come before God boldly today as we learn to pray in faith. Our Scripture for today comes from Isaiah 6:5, and today's worship is Such An Awesome God by (feat. Maryanne J. Join the Fifth Great Awakening
08/01/2023 Duración: 10minHappy New Year!! I'm Craig Denison, author and founder of First15. A growing relationship with God comes when you experience him every day. So thank you so much for starting your year with us. I’ve got a really exciting announcement with what you can expect from First15 this year. One is, we’re expanding the writers that are contributing to the daily devotionals. There will still be a lot of content written by me, but this month we’re kicking the year off with a focus on spiritual awakening actually written by my Dad, Jim Denison. He’s one of the smartest and most heart-felt people I’ve ever known. It was a privilege growing up with him as a father. And I’m really excited for you to get to experience God with his content as a guide this month. Along with some new content, you’ll hear a new voice on the podcast reading the days devotional. That’ll help give consistency to your experience with God, not making First15 about the author, but about creating space for God to fill. Happy New Year

The Sacrifice of Jesus
26/12/2022 Duración: 09minChristmas is a time where we as believers celebrate God’s heart to write himself into our story. Prior to Jesus we had no real picture of God’s love. All we had to know him by was through stories of old and commandments written into law. But only in Jesus was a pathway created whereby we could walk in intimacy with the Father again. Only in Jesus was the veil torn allowing God’s manifest presence into the earth. We owe all that we have to Jesus. We owe all that we have to Christmas. So across the next two days we’ll celebrate the joyful reality of Christmas. May this time together help us center our celebrations around the goodness of Emmanuel, God with us. Our Scripture for today comes from John 6:51, and today's worship is Noel by Chris Tomlin featuring Lauren Daigle -- Thanks for listening to the First15 podcast. The end of the year is fast approaching, so I wanted to reach out with a quick reminder about the $572,431 year-end goal. Reaching this goal by midnight Friday will ensure we end the year stro
