"The War Within" is a commonly used metaphor to describe the internal struggles many people face when dealing with mental health challenges. It describes the battles we have within our own minds – against negative thoughts, difficult emotions, self-doubt, and destructive urges. I've struggled with my own war within and I wanted to share a little this and that while I've been on a hiatus.
