Tony and his guest, Jimmy Coates, will discuss Jimmy's recent detailed review of Kris Vallotton's book, "Fashioned to Reign." Kris Vallotton once again shows that he and Bethel Church in Redding, CA, should be avoided. False teaching abounds in Vallotton's latest literary offering.

Tony is joined by Pastors Jon Speed and Andrew Rappaport, Edwin Lo, Donna Hebert, and Ken Cook. The topic of this two-hour, roundtable discussion will be The Church of Wells. The questions Tony and his guests will try to answer: Is The Church of Wells a cult? If so, is it a theological cult, a sociological cult, or a combination of the two? Christians often find themselves walking a fine line between legalism and antinomianism, between proving they are Christians through their works and acting as though their sins shoud never be an indicator that they may not be saved.  Such a walk can result in frustration and spirtual exhaustion unless one rightly understands the gospel.  Christians never outgrow their need for the gospel.  Rich and Chris will take time to line out how Christians should rightly understand their sins, their need for the gospel and what sanctification looks like in the life of the believer.

It has been a hectic week for Cross Encounters Ministries as Tony was once arrested in the UK.  This time, he was arrested in Scotland during the Love Scotland Outreach with Pastor Josh Williamson.  Tony will join Chris and Rich as he discusses his arrest and what this means for him in the future.  

Rich and Chris will tackle a all too present in American Evangelicalism, the issue of Christian Celebrities.  Many preachers and teachers have been elevated to a celebrity status in which it is taboo to question anything they say and do.  How should the biblically thinking Christian approach this problem?  Also we will play audios of Tony's last open air sermon before his trip to Norway and a preacher profile recently posted on the internet.  This and questions recently submitted by our faithful listeners!

Cameron Buettel is co-writing a series of well-sourced, informative articles on the New Apostolic Reformation, with Jeremiah Johnson, on the Grace To You blog. Tony and Cameron will look at the public statements of faith of Bethel Church and other New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) churches and show that these churches post orthodox statements of faith on their websites, but do not actually teach and practice what they profess to believe. This is one of the ways heretical churches like Bethel Church Redding lure people to the churches--by appearing orthodox on the surface. However, they are anything but orthodox in their theology and their practices.
