Accent ON!’s host ILONA EUROPA interviewed singer-songwriter LIAM KEVANY from the band Angeles Flight on Monday. Liam said: We are a Los Angeles based group that plays music for the soul. We came together the summer of 2012 to play funky jams. Rock is our easel, and Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Classical, and anything that sounds good are our colors. I formed the band after hearing Gary Clark Jr. last summer. At the time I was doing a lot of side man stuff and I didn't have my own project. Angeles Flight became my baby. We are a quartet (guitar/vocals, bass, drums, and hype man). I went to high school with all three of these guys. In the past year we've played a good amount of gigs around the LA area. We had a monthly spot at the Tribal Cafe in Echo Park up until September.
