Continuing our vision series on Isaiah 61, Georgia shares her first hand experiences of how she's been used by God in the workplace. From healing miracles to conversions and supernatural favour, Georgia shares how you too can be a beacon of hope and a force for change in your work environment all while still being normal. Believe it or not, BVC just turned 3 years old, and with that we are going through a whole host of exciting transitions. As we move to being one church in multiple locations the need for a name that goes beyond geographical borders and that encapsulates our very DNA brings us to our decision to change our name to Vineyard 61 Church. The "61" coming from Isaiah 61: one of our favorite and most inspiring scripture passages. Listen in this week as Viv reflects over the last three years and all that God has already accomplished through His church. Steve also draws our attention again to Isaiah 61 and what a life anointed by the Holy Spirit looks like in this bare and broken world. There are so many things to be thankful for. And as we continue into this season of transition and growth lets remember to praise Him for all that He's done and is about to do.

We hear this word revival thrown around here and there, but what does it actually look like to live in a state of revival? And why was it so important to God that Jesus literally laid down his life for this very purpose? In this edition of Brave Talk three mystery guests share their stories as they've fought fiercely to overcome great obstacles of negative body image. From comfort eating to self loathing these ladies bravely share what most would keep under wraps. Listen in and be encouraged within your own journey as their victory can soon be yours as well.

Part of the tension of living in this Kingdom of the now and not yet means that we will encounter mystery. Sometimes we will experience troubles while at other moments we will experience incredible blessing. This simply doesn't mean that God chooses to change His mind or that He's a hopeless schizophrenic, but it reveals the true reality we find ourselves swept up into everyday. In this weeks podcast, Viv, leads us through this present reality and how it has an affect on our prayers for healing and breakthrough. Hear from her years of experience and insight into why healing doesn't always happen even though Jesus has already provided for it. One thing is for sure -- God is always good!

Healing was such an intrinsic part of Jesus' ministry on the Earth in His time. The gospel writers even felt it was so elementary to His persona and teachings that 1/5 of their written materials cover these events in detail. This week Steve expounds on the unequivocal nature of God's heart towards healing. He not only teaches from a scriptural basis but from first hand experiences as well. As Jesus healed then, He surely heals now. Jesus promised that in this life we would face troubles, and at times those troubles can seem almost insurmountable, but He also promised that He would never leave us or forsake us and that the battle is His. From a place of extreme vulnerability, Georgia shares a personal story of how God met her right in the midst of her battle. Even in the face of potential loss she found that there was joy to be found and that Christ's victory was her victory. From this vantage point she could fight this battle and win. And from that very same vantage point we can in turn fight our battles as well!

Looking around us it doesn't take very long to recognize that the Earth is in a perpetual state of conflict: wars are being fought on multiple fronts; people are fighting for their lives amongst widespread disease, famine and poverty; racism, sexism, and religious oppression still run rampant in all manner of society, and drugs and gang violence continue to plague urban centers all over the planet. What could be the cause of such evil? Could it be man's ever leaning towards power, greed, and hedonism or is there more to the story -- something else...something unseen. Join us this week as Steve continues our sermon series on The Kingdom of God and explains the current reality we find ourselves in and the part we get to play amidst this Clash of the Kingdoms.
