  • The Christmas Remix: Away from the Manger

    30/11/2014 Duración: 36min

The Christmas story was not a one time event confined to a manger in the little town of Bethlehem. The Christmas story is a movement that spans the centuries and crosses the oceans. Join us as we begin our new series The Christmas Remix with part 1, “Away from the Manger.”

  • Courageous: Gratitude in God’s Certitude

    23/11/2014 Duración: 32min

It’s Thanksgiving: a time when we pause and thank God for our blessings and faithfulness. A person could live a 1000 lifetimes without seeing all that the prophet Daniel saw. Taken from his home as a young boy to Babylon, he had lived his years in exile serving the world’s most powerful men in an age of empires. In Daniel 9, the aging prophet reflects on his life and is reminded of something that we all need to remember: God is in control, and because of this, we find “gratitude in God’s certitude."

  • Courageous: Surviving in the Lion’s Den

    16/11/2014 Duración: 38min

One of the great legacies of Daniel’s life was his persevering faith. As a young man, taken away from everything he loved, he doggedly held on to his faith in God. Later, when the world around him went mad, Daniel’s faith calmly and boldly prevailed. As an older man, Daniel’s faith continued even in the face of criticism and persecution. Join us as we continue our series on Daniel with a sermon entitled Surviving in the Lion’s Den.

  • Courageous: The Handwriting is on the Wall

    09/11/2014 Duración: 31min

Pride is odd in that it can be a positive word conveying love or admiration, or it can be a distasteful word conveying egotism, vanity, rebellion, and sin. When we drink from the intoxicating cup of pride we are blinded in our selfishness and unable to even see “The Handwriting on the Wall.” Join us as we continue our series Courageous, with a look at Daniel chapter 5 and a King named Belshazzar who illustrates for us the dangers of pride’s grip.

  • Courageous: Daniel - Great Walls of Fire

    02/11/2014 Duración: 35min

Have you ever thought about all the measures our society goes through to prepare us for fire? Toddlers play with fire trucks, firemen visit kindergarten classes, businesses conduct fire drills, cities require smoke alarms. You see fire prevention everywhere. But how do we prepare for the fires of faith: those moments when our faith gets challenged, stretched, and attacked? Join us as we continue our series Courageous looking at the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and how God took them through and delivered them from the fiery furnace (Daniel 3).

  • Courageous: Daniel Part 2 - Finding God’s Wisdom in a Crazy World.

    26/10/2014 Duración: 37min

Do you ever feel like a lot of the people around you have lost touch with reality? The prophet Daniel could relate. Living in exile, he found himself surrounded by unrealistic expectations from unrealistic leaders. But in the midst of the craziness, Daniel was able to hear from God and bring solutions that honored the Father. Join us as we continue our series on Daniel with Part 2: Finding God’s Wisdom in a Crazy World.

  • Courageous: Part 1

    19/10/2014 Duración: 30min

Great courage doesn’t begin in the face of great danger, it begins in the sanctuary of day to day life when we purpose in our hearts to make the wise choice even though it costs us temporary satisfaction. Join us as we begin a new series on the life of Daniel entitled Courageous. Daniel 1:1-14, James 1:2-4

  • Look Up: Living is Christ and Dying is Gain

    24/08/2014 Duración: 27min

Because Christ has redefined what it means to die, then Christ also redefines what it means to be alive. Paul captured this in seven simple words: “living is Christ and dying is gain.” Life is far too eternal for you to just survive it. It’s time to start living again.
