  • Kingdom Come | Luke 13:10-21 | August 3, 2025 | Aaron T. Colyer

    03/08/2025 Duración: 33min

Send us a textKingdom Come – Luke 13:10–21 | Sermon RecapIn this powerful message, we see Jesus heal a woman who had been suffering for 18 years—and in doing so, He shows what the Kingdom of God looks like: restoration, freedom, and transformation.Jesus is faithful to do what He says—just as He proclaimed in Luke 4, He came to set captives free. The woman’s response is immediate praise, and the crowd rejoices in the glorious things He has done. But not everyone celebrates. A religious leader is upset that Jesus healed on the Sabbath, revealing how rules can get in the way of relationship. Jesus reminds us that mercy matters more than man-made regulation.Jesus goes on to teach that the Kingdom of God starts small, like a mustard seed or leaven, but grows with great impact. It’s a Kingdom of hope, healing, and global reach.Challenge: Are you trusting Jesus? Are you praising Him for what He’s done? Are you being shaped more by His Kingdom than by religion or hypocrisy?

She was bent over and could not fully straighten herself. 12 When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said to her, “Woman, you are freed from your disability.” 13 And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and she glorified God. 14 But the ruler of the synagogue, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the people, “There are six days in which work ought to be done. Come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day.” 15 Then the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the manger and lead it away to water it? 16 And ought not this woman, a daughter of Abraham whom Satan bound for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath day?” 17 As he said these things, all his adversaries were put to sh

  • Repent and Bear Fruit | Luke 13:1-9 | July 27, 2025 | Aaron T. Colyer

    27/07/2025 Duración: 41min

Send us a textIn this message from Luke 13:1–9, we’re reminded of the urgency of repentance and the call to live lives that bear fruit for the Kingdom. Jesus challenges assumptions about suffering and sin, warning us not to mistake God's patience for permission to stay the same. Every moment is an opportunity to turn back to Him.This sermon unpacks how repentance isn’t a one-time act—it’s a daily posture. And just like a fig tree is expected to bear fruit, so are we as followers of Jesus. The time to respond is now. Jesus is patient, but His patience is not forever. Whether you need to repent for the first time or keep walking in repentance, this message is a call to action: Repent and bear fruit—don't wait.
