On this week's show, Mazza and Maverick look ahead to the dual-branded Backlash PPV.  It has been a strange few weeks since WrestleMania.  We've had call ups.  We've had a superstar shake up.  We've had a big show in Saudi Arabia.  It's made things a bit of a mess heading into Backlash but the card is still rather intriguing on paper.  The guys, as usual, will look at each match, break down the talking points and predict who they think will win.

This week, The Doc previews WWE Backlash, which he is infinitely more excited for than he was The Greatest Royal Rumble mainly because there are a couple of key interbrand matches featuring intriguing pairings that he wants to see before the red and blue go their separate creative ways for a while next week.  Of course, The Greatest Rumble left us with one major talking point that needs to be addressed - Brock Lesnar is still champion; isn't it time to ask whether or not someone else is going to be the one to slay The Beast?  Also, Doc has been attempting to squeeze in a discussion of the Match, Men's Wrestler, and Women's Wrestler of the Month for two months now, so he finally gets around to that this week, naming the awards for both March and April.

This week, The Doc - after allowing the roster shuffle to marinate - has five major takeaways to share about the WWE Superstar Shake-Up (here's a hint: he loved Smackdown's additions, but he also is not ready to throw in the towel on the Raw brand, bar one particular division that basically should have no expectations for the next twelve months, as is).  Also, a question from last week's "Ask The Doc" segment left a lingering thought about John Cena in his mind, and this week Doc openly wonders whether or not the former Golden Boy is tarnishing his legacy with nights like WrestleMania 34 and pretty much everything else he has done in WWE since tying Flair's World Title mark at the 2017 Royal Rumble.  Expect a brief overview of this Friday's Greatest Royal Rumble event, as well.
