The Implications is off this week, so stepping in for The Perfect 10 wrestling podcast is One Nation Radio, hosted by LOP columnist and frequent guest of The Doc Says, Rich Latta, and James Boyd.  On ONR's debut on LOP Radio, "The Doc" Chad Matthews is their guest and the trio will continue the discussion begun on this week's Doc Says episode regarding WWE pay-per-view in 2017, looking at Great Balls of Fire through Clash of Champions.  They will, along the way, tackle such topics as Jinder Mahal, Shane McMahon, the tag team divisions, and the best matches of the second half of the year.

This week, The Doc is joined by LOP's newest columnist and regular Doc Says guest, Rich Latta, as well as Latta's One Nation Radio co-host, James Boyd, to tackle a variety of topics from the world of professional wrestling, including but not limited to the first in a two-part discussion about WWE pay-per-views in 2017 in such a way that sets the table for the major talking points heading into 2018.  The strength of the WWE product in the Network era has been its PPVs, so what pertinent talking points can we draw from exploring the quality and the trends exhibited by WWE's PPV offerings in 2017?  We'll also look into the crystal ball to the upcoming WrestleMania Season – which is a very tricky one given the rumors of the Lesnar matches at both the Rumble and Mania 34.  Doc also presents to the ONR co-hosts an alternative way to consume WWE programming moving forward that might be a little bit more palatable for diehard enthusiasts.

This week, The Doc dives back into the ever-controversial topic of Roman Reigns, and finds himself somewhat to sympathetic to The Big Dog's cause given his track record in the ring over the past few years.  Only three other stars in a loaded era of performers have more four-star matches than he does since the beginning of 2015, making Doc wonder why we're so hard on Reigns himself instead of more specifically concentrating our collective vitriol toward WWE for botching his character.  Also, Doc feels obligated to talk about Smackdown's Clash of Champions PPV, but it will not be discussed with a happy tone by any means.  Finally, the year that was for Women's wrestling will be put under the spotlight, as Doc names WWE's main roster female of 2017 and WWE/NXT's women's Match of the Year.

This week, The Doc is thinking ahead to the 2018 Royal Rumble Match; it has been a long time since WWE produced a Rumble which sent the crowd home happy and there is serious doubt that this will be the year that rectifies the problem, but what if this year presented the perfect scenario to allow for the diehard fans to start the Road to WrestleMania thinking good things instead of the usual ho-hum or doom-and-gloom?  Doc will discuss.  Also, Reigns vs. Lesnar is inevitable, presumably, so Doc will also explore a way that it maybe - just maybe - could work for him, in hopes that perhaps it might also help you if you're as disinterested on the surface as he is.
