This week, The Doc is very Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar oriented, as the main-event at the upcoming No Mercy PPV is one that, as much as it reflects striking while the proverbial iron is hot with The Monster Among Men, could have just as easily main-evented WrestleMania next April; so could John Cena vs. Roman Reigns and it may happen sooner than later as well.  We have seen the proliferation of such scenarios in the last couple of years; WWE will even at times say outright, "This match could main-event WrestleMania," it will deliver like a Mania main-event, and then the actual WrestleMania main-event will lack inspiration in the build up, stink the joint out, or both.  Doc weighs in. Summerslam and NXT Takeover: Brooklyn III are in the books, and much has already been said on some of the more negative aspects of the weekend's events. Mav and 'Plan therefore concentrate on what they did like: Black and Itami, Asuka and Moon, Seth and Dean's emotional arc, KO and AJ Styles using the guest referee stip intelligently, and a main event of mass destruction. The biggest part of the Summer is upon us! SummerSlam this year is something of a mixed bag, as Raw and SmackDown bring a wide array of matches to the table. From grudge matches like John Cena vs Baron Corbin to "The Demon" Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt, Women's Championship action from Naomi vs Natalya and Sasha Banks vs Alexa Bliss to main events pitting Shinsuke Nakamura against Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship and a huge Fatal 4 Way for the Universal Championship with Brock Lesnar, Samoa Joe, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman all fighting for supremecy, and plenty more to fill out the card, this show has the potential to be huge.
