  • The Doc Says...Ellsworth Has Killed Smackdown / Styles & Ambrose Need A Home Run

    30/11/2016 Duración: 33min

This week, in The Doc's second quarterly "State of Smackdown Address," he finally uses his podcast to voice his strong opinion on the James Ellsworth angle and shares how he feels it has impacted what he roughly 10 weeks ago - just two months into the brand split 2.0 - proclaimed "the better show."  Is it still the better show than Raw?  Also, it's The Doc's 5-Star Preview of TLC; he'll break down what he feels are the most compelling matches and offer insight that may in many cases contextualize each match better than WWE has on TV in recent weeks.  Will Ambrose regain the WWE World Championship?  Has Alexa Bliss earned at least a short, unexpected title run with the Women's gold?  And is Ziggler vs. Miz among the best rivalries not just of the year, but of the decade?  All this and more!

  • The Late Shift with Steven Bell - Recapping and Grading WWE Raw

Your host, Steven Bell, has 15 years experience as a Lords of Pain contributor as well as 30+ years of fandom, so you can expect plenty of opinions, frustration when warranted, excitement when applicable and maybe the occasional rant or two..  Most of all, though, expect unrepentant fandom. This isn't a show for "experts" or so-called "insiders". Presented BY a fan, FOR fans, this isn't a show where you'll be told what to think. It is, however, a show where you'll be encouraged to think for yourself, even if it means disagreeing with any and everything that comes through Steven's microphone. Follow Steven on Twitter @StevenFnBell to follow along LIVE and express your opinions about any or everything that he's got to say. • WCW: The Legacy Series - Uncensored '95 (Only Rule Is There Are Lots of Rules)

    26/11/2016 Duración: 02h07min

It is the first WCW Uncensored, and it is...headscratching.  The announcers remind us that there are no rules, yet each of the matches, of course, have very specific rules. Eventually, the line becomes a joke even to the announcers, as they declare randomnly, "It's Uncensored!" as an answer for everything.  This is the night where Dustin Rhodes wrestles the Blacktop Bully in the back of a moving vehicle, but is this match as bad as it's made out to be? Is it even as bad as some of the other matches on the card? We discuss. Plus, after making Vader look remarkably strong at Superbrawl, Hogan and WCW take a very different approach at Uncensored. Join us for TLS: Uncensored 1995.

  • The Right Side of the Pond - Top 10 Matches of TakeOver and Survivor Series

    25/11/2016 Duración: 01h40min

  • Perfect 10 Wrestling - Goldberg vs Lesnar A Catastrophe? Or Pure Genius?

    25/11/2016 Duración: 01h59min

  • The Doc Says..Goldy Squashes Bork, Raw vs SD Ruled, The Miz 4 Main-Event, & More

    23/11/2016 Duración: 01h16min

This week, The Doc is hot under the collar - check that, his ears have steam coming out of them - on account of Brock Lesnar getting squashed by a 50-year old has-been.  He's not shy about expanding on the reasons shared in his Lordsofpain.net account of the event, but is joined by Rich Latta from socialsuplex.com, thesportster.com, and One Nation Radio to hopefully get cooler heads to prevail.  Rich has a nice, optimistic take on the matter.  The always enjoyable duo will also answer other key questions coming out of Survivor Series, namely whether or not the format was successful enough to repeat in future years and when The Miz should rejoin the main-event scene.  All this and more!

  • LOP Radio Aftershock: WWE Survivor Series

    21/11/2016 Duración: 02h47min

Celebrating its 30th year as one of the company's premiere events, WWE's Survivor Series PPV will this year stand out as one of the few shows to feature the rosters of both Raw and SmackDown! Not only will the two rosters be going head to head in multiple Survivor style matches but we will also see the "fantasy warfare" matchup of Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar! Who will walk out victorious? More important, will anyone aside from their immediate family members actually care? Join your hosts, The Late Shift's Steven Bell (@StevenFnBell on Twitter) and his tag team partner, Candice Hare (@chare889 on Twitter) as they break down everything that went down on what could potentially stand as a landmark event in these early days of The New Era. Plenty of opinions, a bit of debate and plenty more will come your way LIVE minutes after the PPV goes off the air!

  • WCW: The Legacy Series - Superbrawl '95 (Vader Time?)

    19/11/2016 Duración: 02h23min

One of the great legacy series unearthings has been the agreement that there are few, if any, stars in WCW in the early 90s who are on the level of Vader. After dropping the world title to Flair at Starrcade 1993 and having Flair refuse to job the belt back, Vader went down the card for almost a year's time. Now, at Superbrawl V, going one-on-one with Hogan, and having a matched booked to his strengths, it is clear that Vader is every bit the top star he has been. Too bad Superbrawl V will be about as close as Vader will get to being champion again. Join us, one last time, for Vader time.

  • The Right Side Of The Pond: The True History Of The Royal Rumble (Part 5)

    18/11/2016 Duración: 01h15min

Having discussed the history of the event in depth over the previous four episodes, Mav and 'Plan round their series off with a look at what the future of The Royal Rumble might hold. They'll look closely at topics like how to innovate the match and its tropes, what prizes could be on offer in future Rumbles, how the revolutionised women's division fits in, how a brand extension might affect the January classic, and much, much more. This one's a must listen!

  • The Doc Says...Love or Hate The Build, Survivor Series Feels "Big 4" Worthy

    16/11/2016 Duración: 50min

This week, The Doc goes into "Big 4" preview mode, ditching the 5-star format in favor of an episode-long look at everything that we can expect on Saturday and Sunday.  It's been a long time since Survivor Series truly felt on-par with the other original PPV members, but combine NXT's Takeover of Toronto the night before with the return of Goldberg and the brand warfare theme and it would seem that WWE is committed to re-establishing the reputation of the November Classic.  Will it pay off with a great pair of shows this weekend?  Doc will share his thoughts...

  • WCW: The Legacy Series - Starrcade '94 (Hogan's Starrcade)

    12/11/2016 Duración: 01h45min

The hosts of the legacy series, having covered WCW from 1988 through 1994, have already unearthed the fact that Starrcade is many times a weak PPV. Whether it's Battlebowl or the Black Scorpion magic show, Starrcade has not always lived up to its billing. Now, however, we get the first Starrcade under the reign of Hulk Hogan. Have you ever wanted to see Hacksaw Jim Duggan beat the crap out of Vader again and again? Ever wanted to hear the Honky Tonk Man's music even though he's not on the show? Ever wondered what would happen if Kevin Sullivan wrestled Mr. T while Dave Sullivan was dressed as Santa? Ever said to yourself, if there's one man who should main event the final PPV of the year, it should be the guy who cut hair in WWF and will later be the Booty Man in WCW? If you answered yes to any of these, go watch Starrcade 1994. If you answered no, join us as TLS presents Hogan's Starrcade.

  • The Right Side Of The Pond: The True History Of The Royal Rumble (Part 4)

    11/11/2016 Duración: 58min

This week in their fan history of The Royal Rumble, Mav and 'Plan take a deep look at the "lost years" of the Rumble. Between 2010 and 2015, fan ire was provoked by a series of Rumbles which were either underwhelming or questionably booked. The boys examine the reasons for this and the trends that developed, bookending their conversation with discussion of the two excellent Rumbles either side of the fallow period (2009 and 2016) and how the event might have learnt from its mistakes over the years.

  • The Doc Says...Let's Open The Discussion About WrestleMania 33

    09/11/2016 Duración: 46min

This week, The Doc is again joined by Rich Latta of socialsuplex.com and One Nation Radio, this time to discuss WrestleMania 33 for the first time.  Tickets for the "Show of Shows" are on sale next week, so Rich has developed a potential card for the event that Doc will hear and react to, chiming in with his thoughts on various possible directions that WWE can go heading into WrestleMania Season, which is actually right around the corner if you think about it.
