    08/11/2016 Duración: 02h01min

Coming your way LIVE every Monday night shortly after Raw goes off the air, The Late Shift provides an immediate, opinionated recap and occasionally controversial grade of the show. Your host, Steven Bell, has 15 years experience as a Lords of Pain contributor as well as 30+ years of fandom, so you can expect plenty of opinions, frustration when warranted, excitement when applicable and maybe the occasional rant or two..  Most of all, though, expect unrepentant fandom. This isn't a show for "experts" or so-called "insiders". Presented BY a fan, FOR fans, this isn't a show where you'll be told what to think. It is, however, a show where you'll be encouraged to think for yourself, even if it means disagreeing with any and everything that comes through Steven's microphone. Follow Steven on Twitter @StevenFnBell to follow along LIVE and express your opinions about any or everything that he's got to say. It's all about the fans' perspective here on The Late Shift with Steven Bell.   The Late Shift with Steven

  • The Right Side Of The Pond: The True History Of The Rumble (Part 3)

    04/11/2016 Duración: 01h01min

This week in their fan history of the Royal Rumble, 'Plan and Mav delve deeply into the persistent urban myths and half truths that surround the event to try and determine how they arose. They begin with the idea of the "experimental title challenger" trope, before examining whether predictability is really a problem for Royal Rumbles, or if, in point of fact, predictability is largely the point of the whole affair. They'll conclude by looking at the destructive habit of inserting novelty and nostalgia entrants into what is, effectively, a number one contender's match for a Wrestlemania title shot. Be sure not to miss this one folks!

    02/11/2016 Duración: 53min

This week, The Doc is joined by Rich Latta from socialsuplex.com and One Nation Radio to discuss all of the relevant happenings from last Sunday's Raw-brand only PPV, Hell in a Cell.  Both will share their overall opinions of the show and talk about the best of the three main-events, including the controversy surrounding the women's title match that closed the show and whether or not Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens stole the show.  They'll also start drawing conclusions about the decision to bring Cruiserweight wrestling back to Monday Night Raw and discuss how far away we might be from a tag team revolution similar to what the women achieved over the course of the last few years.  Doc will get Rich's thoughts on Survivor Series, as well.

  • LOP Radio Aftershock: WWE Hell in a Cell

    31/10/2016 Duración: 02h22min

It's time for WWE Hell in a Cell! We've got three main events this time around, one of them of genuine historic significance. Rusev and Roman Reigns look to bring an end to their long feud over the US Title while surrounded by the steel. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins looks to gain revenge upon The Authority by knocking off HHH's "Chosen One" and taking the Universal Championship from Kevin Owens. On top of that, history will be made as WWE Raw Women's Champion, Sasha Banks, and arch nemesis Charlotte become the first women to ever compete inside Hell in a Cell as they face off for the Women's Championship. Even with all that and the other matches going down, perhaps the biggest question of the night concerns which match is going on last. We'll find out together! Join your host, The Late Shift's Steven Bell, (@StevenFnBell on Twitter), LIVE as he breaks down everything that went down on the show mere minutes after it goes off the air! With plenty of opinions and the usual conjecture and always entertaining banter,

  • WCW: The Legacy Series - Fall Brawl '94 (Escaping Hulk Hogan)

    29/10/2016 Duración: 01h42min

The only good thing about Hogan in WCW, for the mystic, are the shows when Hulk Hogan doesn't appear in WCW. Already, one PPV after deeating Flair, Hogan is not on the Fall Brawl 1994 card. This will be repeated in events like Starrcade 1995 and the summer of 1996, when Hogan is absent and the WCW guys (think Flair, Sting, Luger) get to actually be top players again. In Fall Brawl 1994, Dusty and Dustin enter War Games together, Sting/Vader/Guardian Angel compete to be the number-one contender, and Hacksaw Jim Duggan shames Ricky Steamboat and Steve Austin in 30 seconds or less. Hogan may not be wrestling, but his mark is still on the show. Join us as we discuss the complications of WCW in the Hogan era.

  • The Right Side Of The Pond: The True History Of The Royal Rumble (Part 2)

    28/10/2016 Duración: 01h07min

In the second part of their series paying proper reverence to the history of the Royal Rumble, 'Plan and Mav break down the undercards of the January classic, arguing that they are just as important as the reverse battle royal itself. They begin with the argument that the undercard was key from the very first event and take you through a whistlestop tour of issues surrounding the supporting matches that took place around the Rumble, including discussion of how the new brand split might affect the show moving forward.

  • Perfect 10 Wrestling - Should The Women Main Event HIAC? & The Next Face of WWE?

  • The Doc Says...No Chance in Hell (in a Cell) That Women Don't Steal Show on Sun.

    26/10/2016 Duración: 33min

This week, the title of the podcast is misleading.  The Doc is hyped about the potential for Sasha Banks and Charlotte to steal the show, but that is assuming that they're not positioned in the main-event spot that would make THEM the show.  Doc adheres to the concept that if you're on last, you are expected to have to the most memorable match and that, as such, you can only steal the show from a non-headlining position.  He will breakdown what could be an historic night on Sunday, as well as offer his 5-star Preview for the rest of the event's most intriging matches.

Join us once again at 4pm EST for all the latest on what's gone down as well as previews of what's coming, it's everything you ever needed to know and more if you're looking for a wider perspective any modern wrestling that may have slipped under your radar. This week, The Doc wants to talk about the babyface and heel dynamic in pro wrestling today.  As much as ever before, the wrestler we are traditionally supposed to cheer gets booed and the wrestler we are traditionally supposed to boo gets cheered.  Do those specific fictional character traits even exist anymore?  Should we even bother trying to define wrestlers that way at this point?  Samuel 'Plan joins the show to offer his opinion on the matter.  Also, Doc will go "Around the WWE World" to talk about the week's hottest topics, including some doctor talk regarding Paige's situation.
