Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair wrestle for the WCW heavyweight championship. Meanwhile, mystic and mizfan mourn the future of WCW under the power of Hulk Hogan. They also ponder what exactly about Hulk Hogan is appealing to his fans? The match and feud and that should have been the biggest in the history of wrestling will, instead, become bizarre and one-sided. Welcome to the new WCW. You might also know it as the old WWF.

This week, Maz, Mav and 'Plan are in the studio to discuss WWE's latest single brand pay-per-view. None of the three were impressed by what they saw, for the most part, and they'll explain exactly why. They'll touch on the current state of WWE's TV product and the state of the brand extension three months in. Finally, they discuss potential happenings at Survivor Series following Smackdown's challenge to Raw this week. As always, everything is served up with a healthy serving of mirth!

For the first time in 8 years, No Mercy has returned to the WWE PPV lineup, this time as a SmackDown brand exclusive event! We've got a huge main event on deck as WWE World Champion AJ Styles puts his title on the line in a triple threat match against former Champ,  Dean Ambrose, and the veteran, John Cena. We'll also see the Women's Championship defended for the first time as Becky Lynch takes on Alexa Bliss, and the battle between Apex Predator and self proclaimed God as Randy Orton faces off against Bray Wyatt. All of that and plenty more stacks up to make this a potentially awesome show on paper, especially after the warm response to Smackdown's Backlash show in September. The Legacy Series presents Clash of the Champions XXVII, where you can't judge the success of two men by the "historical" unification match that they are in. For instance, before the unification match between Sting and Flair even takes place, it is made clear that the match to watch for is Hogan/Flair. So scratch Sting from the main event. And not even Ric Flair knows what future lies ahead for him once Hulk Hogan takes full control. It's CotC where WCW introduces Hulk Hogan to the company right in the midst of Flair country. It's the beginning of a relationship (WCW/Hogan) that will be wildly successful and wildly damning.  One thing is for sure--Hogan is here and everything is changing already.

It's the final WCW PPV before the debut of Hulk Hogan. Mizfan continues to make the (ever more convincing) case that Steve Regal is the MVP of WCW in 1994. In the aftermath of the Blue Brand making its mark with the first SmackDown exclusive show, Backlash, it's time for the Red Brand to try and make its mark.
