Featuring not only the return to WCW of the iconic "Nature Boy" Ric Flair, fresh off his WWF run, this event also saw the WCW debut of The British Bulldog Davey Boy Smith. The main event saw the culmination of one of the most infamous gimmicks in WCW history as Sting and World Champion, Big Van Vader, faced off in the "unsanctioned", brutal and ridiculously named White Castle of Fear Strap match to add another exclamation point to their prolonged rivalry. No tiny hamburgers were harmed in the execution of this match. But man, can you even fathom how many of those little things Vader could polish off in a good sitting? A big show in the history of World Championship Wrestling history, join Shane and Mizfan as they discuss and break down Superbrawl 1993!

With the brand split just a couple of days away, Mazza, Plan and Maverick have a detailed discussion about what is likely to happen.  The guys look at the candidates for the GM roles.  They discuss just how different they think Smackdown will be from the norm.  They make their predictions about who goes where. This week, The Doc will be doing his 5-star Preview of WWE Battleground a week earlier than usual because of the imminent WWE Draft, which will be covered in a timlier manner next Wednesday one night after it takes place on Smackdown.  The Shield Triple Threat Preview (SuperStar Wars style) will end today and Doc will look in-depth at the other four most intriguing matches on the July 24th PPV card.  Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn are probably moving in different directions, so could their presumed finale clash in Chapter 1 of their main roster rivalry steal the show from Ambrose, Rollins, and Reigns?  All that and more!

After a crazy and zany "Final Deletion" segment on the latest edition of Impact, Mav and 'Plan stray away from their WWE bread and butter to talk Hardy Boys. Triple Threat match - not the fact that it is taking place, mind you, for he is overwhelmed with glee that the match will happen and will take you through Part 2 of his SuperStar Wars preview.  No, he is disappointed that the match is taking place at lowly Battleground and is struggling not to see this as a microcosm of a major problem in WWE.  Also, Doc will discuss the upcoming Cruiserweight Classic - a potential cure to any ill-will.

Join us as WCW: The Legacy Series finishes its fourth year of WCW PPVs.  Starrcade, in '92, for whatever reasons, is still including Battlebowl as part of the lineup. This show includes Chono v. Muta for the NWA title, but is this the same quality from Muta that we got in his previous run three years ago? Also, with the injury to Rick Rude, Steve Williams challenges Ron Simmons in what might be one of the most disgustingly booked matches in the history of pro wrestling. Shameful booking against the babyface champion, Ron Simmons. Finally, in what might be one of the greatest matches in the HISTORY of WCW, Sting takes on Vader for the King of Cable. Who will win Battlebowl? How will we escape this Bill Watts era? Will we ever be the same? It's WCW Starrcade '92.

After a bit of a quiet news week, Maverick and Mazza take a look at a few of the talking points in the WWE.  First they discuss the impact of Roman Reigns suspension following the rumour that he may or may not have apologised to the locker room for his suspension.  Then they look at the ramifications of the brand split following rumours we will be getting two PPVs a month and two world champions.  Finally they discuss the New Day vs Wyatt Family feud and whether it can give Bray and his gang a return to a strong standing within the company.

This week Mazza and Maverick return to look at a huge few days for the WWE.  They begin by looking at Roman Reign's suspension, what it means for him and how it may be the catylist for change that the IWC have been screaming out for.  They also look at a very important edition of Money in the Bank and just how the big matches on the night delivered.  The final topic of conversation is the upcoming brand split and the boys discuss just how the events of this week might play into two brands going forward. 

This week, The Doc picks on the Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Championship match a little further, borrowing from the criticism levied through his Money in the Bank review column on LOP.  What does it take for a spot-driven match to be successful?  Also, he will discuss Roman Reigns getting suspended for a Wellness Policy violation and how it derailed a potentially era-defining run for him as champion.  Plus, John Cena will be a subject focused upon as Doc breaks down what the Golden Boy has left to offer.
