Is the power of God at work in your life? Is the power of God at work in the life of this congregation? Are you ready to experience both praise and persecution?

To be the Church we need to be, our life in community needs to exhibit the same description that can be seen in the very first verse of our text . . . they devoted themselves to the Apostles' teaching, to the breaking of the bread, to fellowship and to prayer.

What is our purpose as a church? Or more simply put, what do we say as a church? We are to point to God's work in our lives . . . to tell others of Christ, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith.

Thomas Acquinas points out the importance of beginning Gospel conversations where people are. But, no matter where they start, they must always point to salvation in and throught the Lord Jesus Christ alone.

The Gospel has brought one of two responses: reception as the Good News of Jesus Christ; or, ridicule as a foolish man's folly. May it continue to go forth in our midst as God wills it.

A 'New Testament' Church (one belonging to Jesus) is defined by certain principles laid out in the Bible. Prayer. Apostolic leadership. Authority of God's Word. Let us always seek to be the Church of Jesus, and none other!

What do we see in the life of the early Church described in the book of Acts that we should see in our own lives and the life of this congregation? Does this congregation demonstrate the marks of a New Testament Church? Does your own life?

What are we to do while we wait upon Christ to return? How are we to bear witness to what God is doing here and now and forever?

God himself has promised to bless those who bless his people and to curse those who curse them. Principally, then, he is concerned that the Church is blessed to be a blessing. We exist, as God's people, to change the world through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Do you hope for the right thing? Do you understand what 'heaven' is? Do you know where you will spend eternity? Is it worth dying for in this life?

What will the end of time look like? When will Jesus return? What will he do when he comes? Who will be there? What will happen after these things?

The marriage supper of the Lamb. It is one of the most beautiful pictures of God's faithfulness and love to his bride, the Church. What does it mean to be invited to this table? How do we come to be invited?

What does it mean to be a 'witness for Christ'? What kind of life are we to expect in this age, before Jesus returns? Revelation 11 gives us an accurate picture of God's care over his church that stays true to his name.

Who will be in heaven? On what basis can we gain entry into the presence of Almighty God? Find out this week as we look to Revelation 7.

Who is worthy to carry out the plans of God? Only the Lamb, Jesus Christ is worthy. And we learn from this passage that He is worthy because he was slain, because He gave up His life for the Church.

Have you seen into heaven? Is God on the throne of your reality? What difference does this make in your life? Come and see the one who has created all things and by whom all things existed and were created!

Here we find Jesus giving both encouragement and rebuke to his Church. How can we, as a church today, receive his instruction as the King and Ruler of all things?

Revelation is written by John to reveal the Lord Jesus Christ and his coming Kingdom. It gives us hope that the reality we see around us now is not the one that will last forever . . . there is something more . . . something better.
