Morgan Ensberg - Former MLB All-Star on placing control in God's hands and leading with actions not words
27/03/2024 Duración: 40minMorgan Ensberg is a former MLB player who was selected in the 9th round of the 1998 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros. He made his MLB debut on September 20, 2000 with Houston and would go on to have an eight-year MLB career with the Astros, Padres and Yankees. In 2005, he was named the All-Star team and led the Astros to the World Series, hitting .283 with 36 home runs and 101 RBI. After retirement, Ensberg went into coaching and is currently the manager of the Rays AAA affiliate Durham Bulls. Founded in 1994, the band has released 11 studio albums and had 13 consecutive top-five singles on the Billboard Christian Songs chart. Its latest album, “Always Only Jesus,” released in 2022. Millard’s life was depicted in the 2018 movie “I Can Only Imagine,” in which actor Dennis Quaid starred as his father who struggled with addiction and violence before coming to faith before his death from cancer. Tony Beasley - Texas Rangers coach on winning the World Series, trusting God in trials and representing Jesus in baseball
18/03/2024 Duración: 37minTony Beasley is the third base coach of the Texas Rangers. Originally selected in the 19th round of the 1989 MLB Draft as a player, Beasley played 10 seasons of minor-league ball from 1989-1998, making two Carolina League All-Star teams, but he never made it to the major leagues. After retiring from playing, Beasley went into coaching and achieved his MLB dream by becoming a coach with the Washington Nationals under manager Frank Robinson. After spending four seasons in Washington, Beasley moved to the Pirates organization. In 2015, he was named to his current role with the Rangers. In February 2016, Beasley was diagnosed with rectal cancer, forcing him to miss the start of the 2016 season. He was declared cancer-free in December 2016. He was inducted into the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame in 2014 and the National Boxing Hall of Fame (with his twin brother Kermit) in 2023. Born and raised in Idaho, he started chasing his dream and began kart racing at age 5. Over the next ten years he garnered several National Titles and was twice ranked the number one US Driver in his age group. He remains the only Triple Crown winner - having won the Florida Winter Tour Championship, the CanAm Championship and the Challenge of the Americas Championship all in the same year. He solid performance continued in 2020 when Sting Ray won theIndy Pro 2000 championship. He finished that Championship season with: 5 Poles, 7 Victories, 11 Podiums, 5 Fastest Laps, 4 Track Records and was the only driver to complete all 485 laps, along with leading the most laps for the entire season. Nate Prosser - Former NHL player on his underdog hockey story and finding a firm foundation in Christ

He was honored by the Professional Football Writers of America (PFWA) with the prestigious Dick McCann Award for his long and distinguished contribution to pro football in 2016 and was honored during the Pro Football Hall of Fame's enshrinement ceremony. Drafted in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft by the Minnesota Twins, he made his big-league debut in 2013 and pitched seven seasons with Minnesota.In 2020, he signed with the Texas Rangers, and in 2021 made the American League All-Star team. After being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies, he was a member of the 2022 National League champions and pitched in the World Series. Last year with the Baltimore Orioles, he notched a career-high 15 wins and helped the team to 101 victories and the AL East championship. Then in November 2023, he signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals for the 2024 season.
