Jacob Tamme is a former NFL tight end who played nine seasons with the Colts, Broncos and Falcons from 2008-2016. Nate Harris is a division one college basketball referee. He started officiating as a junior in high school and worked his way up through high school and eventually college basketball where he currently works in the Pac-12, Mountain West, Big Sky and WAC.  In January of 2020, Nate and his wife Jessica, founded MND Ministries, where he is helping equip and disciples local referees in a relationship with God.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Nate Harris about representing Christ as a college basketball official and using the platform of a referee to help equip others in their faith.  Looking for faith/sports gift ideas? Dana Ford is the head men's basketball coach at Missouri State University. Ford arrived as the head man for the Bears in March 2018 and 4 years later, he led his program to 23 wins, a 13-5 record in the Missouri Valley Conference, culminating in an NIT berth. It was the program's most wins since 2011 and the 10th best in team history.  The Fords are also the founders of the Rebound Foundation which raises funds and awareness to help renew and restore women who have experienced a life of domestic abuse. The foundation provides a stable home and fresh start to abuse victims and their children. Mark Appel was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 MLB Amateur Draft by the Houston Astros. In 2015, he was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies, but in 2018 at the age of 26, he stepped away from baseball. After three years, he announced he was making a comeback to chase his MLB dream and return to pitch professionally. He appeared in 23 games with the Phillies’ Double- and Triple-A affiliates in 2021, striking out 60 batters in 71.1 innings pitched. In 2022, his dream was realized as he made his MLB debut in June with the Phillies. Matt Overton is a long snapper with the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. He first came into the league in 2012 with the Indianapolis Colts and was named to the Pro Bowl in 2013. After the 2016 season, Overton departed for the Jacksonville Jaguars. He has also had stints with the Chargers, Titans, Rams and now with the Cowboys. Seth Reeves is a professional golfer who played on the PGA Tour in 2021-22. He turned pro in 2014 after a successful college career at Georgia Tech. He first earned his PGA Tour card in 2019 and in 2020 was playing on the Korn Ferry Tour where he won his first tournament at the 2020 Pinnacle Bank Classic. Sam Ravech is an on-air personality and sports play-by-play broadcaster with ESPN covering college sports as well as the Little League World Series. Dave Jauss is a baseball lifer. He's been in the game as a coach or advisor for more than 30 years. He's currently a Senior Advisor in player development with the Washington Nationals. Before that, he was a bench coach with the New York Mets. He's also currently in the Dominican Republic serving as a coach in Dominican winter league. Eric Wood played nine seasons in the NFL with the Bills from 2009-2017. He was selected in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft by Buffalo, and became a staple on the offensive line, starting all 120 games he participated in. The Louisville alum was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2015, and was a part of the 2017 Bills team that won nine games and ended an 18-year playoff drought. After retiring because of an injury in 2018, Wood moved into the broadcasting arena and is currently a football analyst with the ACC Network and part of the Buffalo Bills radio team. He also is the host of the “What’s Next with Eric Wood” podcast and the author of his new book "Tackle What's Next."  Today on the show, Wood discusses why he wanted to become an author, what it means to be patient and how God has been moving in his life. Eric also shares fun stories on playing football in the snow in Buffalo and what he thinks will happen when the Bills finally win their first Super Bowl.
