    Patric Young is a former college basketball player with the Florida Gators in the SEC. He is currently a college basketball analyst with ESPN and the SEC Network. As a basketball player, he was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year in 2014 and a 3-time SEC Scholar Athlete of the Year winner.  On June 29, 2022, Young was involved in a serious car accident in Nebraska that left him paralyzed from the waist down.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Patric about the foundation of his faith in Jesus, his basketball journey, the car accident he suffered, how his faith has evolved and finding joy in the midst of losing the movement in his legs.   • Baltimore Orioles draft pick Jackson Holliday on staying humble, trusting in God and blocking out the noise

    Jackson Holliday was selected first overall in the 2022 MLB Amateur Draft by the Baltimore Orioles. Holliday attended Stillwater High School in Stillwater, Oklahoma and finished his senior year batting.685 with 17 home runs, 79 RBI and 30 stolen bases over 40 games. He was named the Oklahoma Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year and wa also awarded an ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove.  Jackson's father is Matt Holliday, the eight-time MLB All-Star with the Colorado Rockies and St. Louis Cardinals and currently the Cardinals bench coach.  Today on the podcast, we talk to Jackson Holliday about his 2022 and what it was like to go from high school to being drafted and playing pro baseball in the span of a few weeks.     Chris Singleton played seven seasons as a Major League Baseball player with the Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles, Oakland A's and Tampa Bay Rays.     Eric Mac Lain is a former offensive lineman at Clemson University who now works as a college football analyst with the ACC Network. During his time at Clemson, he was a part of  two conference championships and made a national championship appearance in his senior year of 2015. At the time of his graduation, he obtained the most wins (46) by a single player in Clemson history, while earning Strength and Conditioning All-America honors.   • U.S. Army chaplain Darius Holland on his NFL career, discipling others and promoting spiritual wellness

    Darius Holland is currently a chaplain with the United States Army in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. In his younger days, Holland played professional football for ten seasons in the NFL with the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns, Minnesota Vikings and Denver Broncos.  He was originally selected by Green Bay in the 3rd round of the 1995 NFL Draft after a college career at the University of Colorado.     Homer Drew is a former college basketball coach who spent 22 years coaching at Valparaiso and took his program to seven NCAA tournament appearances including a Sweet Sixteen berth in 1998, where his son Bryce hit a buzzer-beater in the first round to upset Ole Miss. Homer's son Scott Drew is the Baylor men's basketball coach and son Bryce is Grand Canyon University's men's basketball coach.   • Former NFL running back Danny Woodhead discusses the Holy Spirit, generosity and gratitude

    Danny Woodhead is a former NFL running back who played 10 seasons with the Jets, Patriots, Chargers and Ravens. He went undrafted in 2008 after a college career at Division II Chadron State that saw him win the Harlon Hill trophy in back-to-back seasons (2006 and 2007). Woodhead was able to make his mark in the NFL with the Patriots, playing in Super Bowl XLVI and catching a touchdown pass from Tom Brady in New England’s loss to the New York Giants. In 2015, he enjoyed the best season of his career with the Chargers, finishing with 80 receptions, 1,091 combined rushing and receiving yards, and nine total touchdowns. He retired after the 2017 season.     Oscar Tshiebwe is a college basketball player with University of Kentucky. In 2021-22, he won the John Wooden Award for college basketball's national player of the year. He averaged 17.4 ppg and 15.1 rebounds in leading Kentucky to 26 wins and a No.2 seed in the NCAA Tournament. In April 2022, he announced he would return for his senior season with the Wildcats. Tshiebwe grew up in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and didn't play basketball until age 14. After moving to the United States in 2015, he quickly developed as a player and in his senior season, was named Pennsylvania's Gatorade Player of the Year. After a few seasons with West Virginia, Oscar came to Kentucky in 2021. Today on the podcast, we talk to Oscar Tshiebwe about how prayer and fasting played a role in his decision to return to Kentucky and why his goal as a basketball player is to point people to Jesus.     Jordan Matthews is an NFL tight end with the San Francisco 49ers. He was originally drafted as a wide receiver by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Over his nine year career, he has spent time with the Eagles, Bills, Patriots and now the 49ers.  In college, Matthews attended Vanderbilt University, where he had 262 receptions for 3,759 yards and 24 touchdowns, setting many school records.
