Today  Pretty Mike talks with Josh Koehler.  Josh's story is one of overcoming  adversity.  He has fought through all sorts of injuries including open  heart surgery to repair an aortic dissection.  In 2019 Josh ran 80 races  and in 2020 he almost lost his life to the aortic dissection.  Within  three months of open heart surgery Josh was back on course(admittedly a  little too soon) with Joey McGlamory and the team from More Heart Than  Scars. Today Pretty Mike talks with Dave McCarter Jr.  aka Common Man OCR.  Dave is a man on a mission trying to bring awareness to the fact OCR is for everyone.  They talk about what got Dave into OCR, why he does it, and how he plans to spread the word .  OCR is unlike any other sport as in one day you go from the professional athletes to the weekend warriors and on to the first timers who maybe don't have the right shoes or haven't trained but just wanted to get off the couch and do something.  Joe De Sena(founder of Spartan Races) started the company with the goal if getting a million people off their couches and to try something they never did before.  The goal's now 100 million people and with Dave out proving that anyone, even the Common Man, can do it.
