Today Lisa-Anne catches up with Erika Bogan, OCR and Cross-fit Athlete.   Lisa and Erika finally got to get on course together after COVID shut down the world last year. Phoenix Race OCR has been able to host all their events in the era of COVID and because of this Lisa-Anne and Brother Boggs from BeastNet got to travel and run with More Heart Than Scars.  Before the race Erika got to meet young Gemma, she was diagnosed at 6 months old with Krabbe, a fatal disease. Mike reaches out to Coach Beast Elise to check in on his weight loss, weight gain, and fitness journey.  Long term listeners would know that host Mike  struggled for years with his weight and his overall physical fitness.  He has  sustained many injuries in his life and his go to recovery has been to  sit on the couch and eat potato chips.   Mike was down over 105# this year and is checking back in with his coach for his  continued transformation.  At one point when he was at his most weight loss he was looking sick.  Elise and Mike talk about healthy diet as she is now a certified nutrition coach as well as physical trainer. Today Pretty Mike James has Hazelanna McMahan from Summit to Swamp back on the show.  Shes announcing that the 2021 event in Randall WA isn't cancelled. Just something different.  Over the past few  years her OCR has been evolving into a bigger and more complex event and with COVID still making  a mess of many people's daily lives she decided to simplify her event and host it as Summit to Swamp Obstacle Mud Run FRIENDS & FAMILY DAY.  There will be no planned elite heats, timing chips, etc. She's opening up the course for you to come have fun on.  It's a free event this year with an option to make donations if you are inclined.
