In John 1, we see that Jesus is referred to as the Word. He was with God, in the beginning, and became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus left and sent the Spirit, and it is by that Spirit that we now give word, the expressing of the thoughts of God to the world. In order to receive treatment for illnesses, one must submit themselves to a doctor's care, and be open to treatment. It takes time, it's not an overnight process. The church, we Christians should be willing to receive the broken and care for them in their brokenness as God has cared for us in ours. We must also be as vulnerable to allow others in to our lives to help us through that very healing. Jesus receives the broken not with judgement or condemnation, but gives people what they need when they need it. Listen in!
