Jealousy.  We all feel it at some point but why, and what does it all mean. In this episode I admit to one of my major character flaws and hope that by recognizing the problem, I can begin to find a solution.

When we think of the word homecoming, we tend to think about getting all dolled up to go to a big dance and celebrate the start of the school year.  When I say homecoming, I mean getting dolled up to welcome my husband back from a long deployment. As you will see, it's not all just about flowers, balloons and looking pretty.  

Whew! There are no words to truly convey how happy I am that November is over. It was a month full of downs and downs.  If you're feeling bad for yourself, take a listen and commiserate with me as I share one of the worst months of my thirty seven years to date. 

Sometimes it can be difficult when you feel like you're the only one who feels the way you do. Do you speak up when when you disagree or do you keep your mouth shut?  What happens when you feel like you can't do either one.  That's how I've been feeling lately so now I try to figure out why and explain myself a bit. 

One thing that I hear all of the time as a military spouse is "I don't know how you do it?!" In this episode, I'll take a stab at trying to figure out the answer. 

In this episode I explore a little bit about what it means to be a military kid from those who have the most experience, the kids themselves!  It's their turn to tell us about how they feel.  Plus, a musical bonus.  

How do you move around every few years and still maintain a career?  That's the question we ask in episode 4.  Between figuring out a new place and getting your family settled, life can be difficult enough.  Adding a career to the mix brings up so many more considerations. 

Now that we've moved around so much, what do we really want in a house.  In episode 3 we talk about dream houses and what goes into planning them and making them a reality.  It's fun to dream!
