Starrcade 1993 marks five WCW years covered by mystic and mizfan with WCW: The Legacy Series. And what a way to celebrate, with one of the biggest main events in WCW history. At Starrcade 1993, in the hometown of Nature Boy Ric Flair, he puts his career on the line for a title shot against Vader. The hosts of TLS have previously made the case that, if Ric Flair was the man in WCW before he left for WWF, Vader became the man in the absence of Ric Flair. The legacy of Starrcade is reborn for a night. Listen as we talk Starrcade 1993, plus the dirty politics that existed around the main event and into 1994.

In the aftermath of Summerslam, Maverick and 'Plan give a more cerebral and contrarian breakdown of the weekend's events than your might have come across previously. One of the great, unfortunate situations surrounding WCW in the early 90s is why, when Ric Flair left the company, they let Starrcade become Battlebowl? Starrcade had been known as the granddaddy of them all when it came to PPV, and Ric Flair was, in a sense, the granddaddy of the granddaddy of them all. When he took the world title and left WCW, instead of trying to make the PPV great without him, the PPV became Battlebowl. Now it's 1993, and Ric Flair has returned and, you guessed it, Battlebowl is no longer a part of Starrcade. It is its own PPV. As we approach Starrcade 1993, join us for Vader's last dominant triumph as world champion. Also, we debate why Steamboat can be "grumpy old man who gets pissed when heels wrestle cleanly" and still be a face, but Ron Simmons becomes a heel when he attacks a tag partner who wouldn't help him win the match. The legacy series presents: Battlebowl 1993.

Maverick and 'Plan are back to bring you their match by match breakdown of Summerslam 2016. It's been a momentous month in WWE with the beginning of the new brand split and there's much discuss.
