  • 100% Jodi: Are You Afraid of Success or Are You Afraid of More Responsibility?

    15/02/2021 Duración: 11min

Are you afraid of success or are you afraid of more responsibility? In this episode we’re going to explore why success can be so elusive and why self-sabotage rears its ugly head in moments when success is within reach. I don’t remember when I first heard the expression “Fear of Success”, but I do remember being baffled hearing it. Why would anyone fear success? At that time, to me, success meant a great job with a fancy title, more money than I needed, being fit, being in a great relationship, etc. That’s a pretty fantastic list. That list of great things I wanted, they in and of themselves weren’t the problem. It was the thought of all the things that come with them that had me start pumping the break. In a nutshell, it’s the added responsibility that causes us to cringe and hold back. When you think about the life you want to be l

  • 100% Jodi: Are You Ready to Take Some Action?

    12/10/2020 Duración: 08min

Were you one of the people who, when the pandemic shut downs began, took a step back to reflect on how you were living your life; checking in to see if you were on the right track? If you didn’t like what you were seeing, you’ve probably been doing some research to see what changes you could make and how to make those changes. From there, the next natural step is to get into action. When the pandemic began, I redid a series on the Cycle of Change and completed 3 of the 4 phases that make up the Cycle of Change. The phases I covered were: The Toss-In Phase or the ending of a cycle, The Shuffle Phase which includes deciding what you want to do next, and The Deal Phase when you decide what strategy you’ll utilize in the next phase. The timing did not feel right to cover the final phase back in the spring but I am feeling it now.
