Tension Clues and Clues
18/12/2019 Duración: 01h13minIn teaching motion, with and without weights, there are clues to see if the lifter's tension is being lost or not. Tension is what protects our body from harm during lifts and loads of the outside world. Squatting, Deadlifting, Pressing and much more require tension to move the weight and provide a safeguard against aches and pain. Tension needs to be taught. I'll cover it in this podcast. Here's the link for the document and the video I mentioned. It will not be the first email you get. It will be the 3rd that comes 14 days after the hip email. The first will be Dynamic Hip Evaluation, the Dynamic Shoulder Evaluation, Tension Clues & Cues and then this Low back exam case study. Dynamic Shoulder Evaluation For the Clinician
11/12/2019 Duración: 01h16sDecember is the month of giving, in this podcast episode I put together my clinical pearls of shoulder evaluation from the clinicians. I've been blessed to have some great mentors in showing me how to test shoulders using the standard orthopedic and ROM testing, yet adding a dynamic aspect to the exam to see beyond reasonable doubt if this person with a shoulder issue will respond well to corrective exercise loading or manual therapy. This month on the podcast, allow me to give back. This should work in most cases of: Subacrominal impingement Swimmer's shoulder Tendonitis cases of the rotator cuff Possible grade 1 labrums Upper trap tightness Pain with sleeping on the shoulder Bursitis AMBRI shoulders Here's the link to access the document and the video I mentioned in the podcast. It will not be the first email you get. It will be the second that comes 7 days after the hip email. The first will be Dynamic Hip Evaluation, the Dynamic Shoulder Evaluation, Tension Clues & Cues and then this Low back exam c

Return To FUN Play
18/09/2019 Duración: 45minWe all have heard about "return to play" but are we really returning our patient to "play" or are we returning them to exercise. The thing is many people don't really care about exercise itself. They care about how the exercise makes them feel. Why not just return them to a playful activity that also accomplishes the same as the boring exercise? In this podcast, I cover this topic at length. This will be useful to movement providers as they assist patients to regain a healthily, happy life. I Will Beat Back Pain Book
