Get More Patients To Book Over The Phone With The Ring-Ring Game
07/08/2019 Duración: 01h04minAt my office I teach my interns how to play the "ring ring" game. In a nutshell, as chiropractors and physical therapists, we often times we get phone calls from possible new patients asking questions: How much for a quick adjustment? Do you take my insurance? Do you do XYZ soft tissue work? These patients are really wanting one thing... to feel better. In my interpretation, their questions are based upon what they believe to be barriers to their success, but really the only barriers is themselves. Listen to this podcast and see what the "ring ring" game is all about and how it can help you succeed in building a new patient base. SHOW NOTES AT https://www.p2sportscare.com/podcast/

Body Tension Through Using Implements With Dennis Dunphy Stick Mobility
17/07/2019 Duración: 01h46sI was introduced to Dennis Dunphy through a past guest Jesse Macado. Dennis Dunphy is a co-creator of Stick Mobility. After looking into what the whole practice of Stick Mobility was all about, I decided to have him on. The application of developing tension (or as he said irradiation) through positions and movements was apparent in his method and could be extremely useful in clinical practice. He's a great conversationalist and an interesting guy. Thanks again Dennis!

Struggles Unexpected Successes 3 Months Into Practice Jeremey Dinkin
29/05/2019 Duración: 01h13minI thought now would be a great time to finally interview one of my old interns, Dr. Jermey Dinkin DC. Now practicing in New Jersey, Jermey is one of my "go to" suggestions when people ask for help on the northern east coast. Jermey graduated SCUHS chiropractic college in Fall 2018. While attended internship at my clinic, he became a (dare I say it) master of management of lumbar discs, hip FAI and easy integration into loading. I dig his style. I know it's hard to say "mastery" with a new grad but he's really damn good at it... better than some older chiropractors even! Thanks for being a great friend. The experience of internship paved the way for many interns to come from my office. Before you, I had no plans of eduction of new docs. Thanks for allowing me to learn with you on your journey. Seb Video of Jermey learning to do a video... Fun Stuff :) SHOW NOTES http://rsmsportsmed.com

Hitting A Mental Roadblock In Creation Of Content
22/05/2019 Duración: 47minI recently hit a small road block in creation of my workshop (Off-loading MSK Pathology) and had to reach out to some friends for ideas. My intention of the workshop is to improve the state of care in the chiropractic profession. I've really been challenged over the last year to explain things in a clear way to other sports medicine clinicians so they can use what I have learned in a clinical standpoint. i don't have a flow chart but I do have a clear intention in my exam/ care... but how should I write it on a presentation?! This is a brainstorming session I needed as I created my continuing education workshop for chiropractors and movement providers. SHOW NOTES

Resistance Training As An Exit Plan To Rehab
03/04/2019 Duración: 57minWORKSHOP DETAILS SHOW NOTES A common conversation I have with my patients is WHY I'd like them to MODIFY some of their weightlifting or ADD resistance training into their exit plan from my care. Typically this is about a 30 min conversation that's always rushed because I have other patients waiting and honestly it's more than I like to share within them early in care. I would like them to focus on other things at this point in their care. The exit plan should be to incorporate some weight training (in the Dan John fashion) as a way to keep out of my office. Application of resistance training should be for the purpose of getting to a DIFFERENT GOAL. Fitness should not be used with a single goal of looking good. I go through it all in this podcast. Links: Dan John Interventions NOTE: There's a possibility this podcast will not be free within 6 months. Listen to it now, as it may be removed and offered for a small fee because I tend to think people absorb more information when they have skin in the ga

Shoulder Labrum Issues? Listen To This!
27/03/2019 Duración: 57minWORKSHOP DETAILS SHOW NOTES The shoulder labrum is a common structure of the shoulder that is blamed for shoulder pain, especially with throwing athletes. A listener brought to my attention that it is a diagnosis I have not covered in detail. In a coming episode, I plan on interviewing someone with a shoulder labral repair to hear exactly what occurred and what it took to recover. Docs: Please share this episode with a patient you know whose' suffering from shoulder pain they believe is from a labral issue. It will help them understand many of the consideration surrounding diagnosis and misdiagnosis of the labrum as the pain generator. References can be found at www.p2sportscare.com.
