Podcast #82: It's Time To Face The Facts
23/10/2017 Duración: 08minHappy Monday! Thanks for listening to my weekly podcast #NoMoreExcuses! And for sharing the podcast as well! The last couple podcasts have been about resetting yourself, strategizing about your life, business, career. Did you do that? If not, listen in to #80 and #81 and then come back! So, when you take the time to do this, you sometimes uncover things you've been avoiding. Avoiding doing or talking about. It's easier to stay status quo than face the facts. It's easier to avoid than admit. But, as the image quote says, "You cannot CHANGE what you REFUSE to CONFRONT." Taking the time to slow down, think, reset and strategize is key to moving forward. But it can get ugly if you AVOID. If you won't ADMIT what you aren't doing. What you need to do. No, it's not going to be perfect every time. It's not always going to go "your way". You're not always going to "win". But if you hide, what's that doing for you? For your success? Please listen in and then email me, post in the comments section what it is you've

Podcast #81: What Have You Done?
16/10/2017 Duración: 09minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to the weekly podcast No More Excuses! Thank you again for listening, coming back, and for sharing this, and other podcasts. It is easy to get on the "crazy train", the "hamster-wheel-of-life" and it's hard to get OFF of that and pause. Like last week's podcast, taking a step back and looking at the "big picture". Determining what you've done, what's happened, where you are compared to where you want to go. Last week was about resetting YOU, and this week is about pausing, and resetting your business (or career). So, do you do a retreat? A vision or strategy session for your business? How? Where? When? Only when shit's going sideways or always with the team? Yes, in a sense it's like checking in on your goals, but it's taking a bigger view at what YOU'VE DONE, what's left to do and how YOU still fit in, feel about things, and what's next. If you did NOT listen in (or share) last week's podcast, click here to do so, and then listen to this week and then email me and tell

Podcast #80: How Do You RESET Yourself?
09/10/2017 Duración: 11minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back and thank you again for listening... AND SHARING this podcast! I greatly appreciate it, and always enjoy hearing from you as to where you are in the world, and in YOUR "world"! Last week was more about lists, getting things done, making shit happen. I love lists and last week I posted a great article where Richard Branson debunked Kevin Kruse's statement that no highly successful person, like Richard Branson uses lists! HA! As Richard said in his article, "I can confidently state that our culture of notes and thoughtful to-do lists has made Virgin what it is today." So, how do YOU keep track of your goals? Your "to-do's"? If you did NOT listen to last week, do it now (yes I said DO IT) and then email me! And what do I have in store for you this week? Well, a bit of a shift. Based on a conversation with a client and a "found-time" list item he accomplished, it made me wonder how you "RESET". With everything going on, and life going by so fast, one thing I do promote is

Podcast #79: What's On YOUR List?
02/10/2017 Duración: 09minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome to the weekly podcast NO MORE EXCUSES! Last week was about being strategic and how you plan for your week and the craziness of your world. I heard from clients who use project management software, specific apps, paper to-do lists, like me, and also notes on their calendar. What do YOU use? How do YOU get it "all" done?! In this week's podcast I talk how I went from a back-to-back day to a wide-open day and how I handled that "new found time!". I actually have many clients create a "found time list". You may call it a "wish list", but it's not a bucket list, it's stuff you wish you had MORE time for, or more of you so you could accomplish it. The reason why I have clients do this? To analyze it and find out WHY things are getting done and how they CAN! It could be you don't know how, it could be you aren't good at prioritizing, it may be a time management issue, or perhaps you aren't sure how to say NO! Could be fear as well! If you missed last weeks podcast, click here to

Podcast #78: Are you TOO BUSY to PLAN?
25/09/2017 Duración: 10minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to the weekly podcast No More Excuses! I appreciate you being here! When you're done listening, please share this podcast with your network! Be careful what you wish for, right? But if you have a PLAN, will you be ready? Maybe not 100%, but you'll be a hell of a lot better off, and you'll definitely have better focus and organization! In this podcast, I, once again, refer to my over-busy, now overwhelmed client. (Listen into last week if you need to catch up) He texted me recently and said, "I'm losing focus and direction and have way too much going on to try to keep track of." Well, had he had a plan, it would be easier for him to stay focused and organized as new opportunities came flying in. The plan itself may not be foolproof, but it can help you when, yes, shit starts going sideways! (Even in a good way!) This month for me has been full of meetings and networking. And last week was nuts with back-to-back meetings, speaking opportunities and an event. How did I ke

Podcast #77: Are You Prepared to SUCCEED?
18/09/2017 Duración: 12minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to the weekly podcast NO MORE Excuses! Thank you again for coming back and for sharing this podcast! If you have NOT shared it... why? And please do! It's quick and painless I promise you! And well, once you have listened to it, you'll realize who else you know that needs to listen in! Last week's podcast was about being PREPARED! Do you PREpare or REpair? I was at an all-day conference on Friday, and I heard an Executive Director of an Association Management company say she did NOT know how to get ahead of things to get OUT OF reactive-mode! She said she lives in the "fire-hose" world. Well, that's a shame as that's what happens when you DON'T PLAN! Ya gotta get OFF OF THE CRAZY TRAIN and call a TIME OUT, take a breath and look at things again and realize sometimes, you gotta just let things burn! This week, I talk about all the ways we protect and insure ourselves, our lives, for disaster, we PLAN for the worst, and just "hope" for the BEST. I want you to shift your

Podcast #76: Do You Prepare or Repair?
11/09/2017 Duración: 09minHappy MONDAY MOTIVATION! Welcome back and thank you for listening to the weekly podcast NO MORE EXCUSES! WOW! It's been a whirlwind of a month with the weather and for many people I have spoken with, including me! Mostly in a good way for business, but it has been crazy watching the Weather Channel, surfing Facebook and texting friends in all areas, including LA to check on them. With all of the crazy weather, and my client who got VERY busy, very FAST, it made me start thinking about being PREPARED. Was Houston prepared? Can you prepare for a wildfire? Florida seemed prepared. It actually seemed like waiting for that giraffe to be born waiting on Irma to hit. LOL! So, HOW are you, or ARE you prepared in business? I don't always mean preparing for the worst. But Benjamin Franklin did say, "By Failing to Prepare, you are Preparing to Fail!" And yep, it wasn't raining when Noah Built the Ark. So, why wait for something to happen (Or as I like to say), "for shit to go sideways", for you to get your ducks in a r

Podcast #75: What Have YOU Contributed?
04/09/2017 Duración: 10minHappy (Labor Day) Monday Motivation! Welcome back the weekly podcast: NO MORE EXCUSES! I mean, why do we need excuses anyway? What do they get us? How far do we go with them? Well, on this Labor Day, I hope you are relaxing and celebrating all of your hard work... your "contributions" to your SUCCESS... your "achievements"! That is what Labor Day is all about, at least here in the U.S. One doesn't happen without the other. So those shortcuts, quick-fixes and yes MAGIC PILLS do not exist. Hard Work. Yep, even if you LOVE what you do, it still requires work. It requires you to do something. Contribute something. Even if it's money! This week that's what I talk about... the meaning of Labor Day. Celebrating your hard work and the achievements it's brought. The client I refer to in this podcast is the same as last week's (didn't listen to it yet? click here first!). This week I talk about all he's done, what he contributed to get to where he is now. Listen in this week, and then email me, post in the comments s

Podcast #74: It Can't Be All Fun And Games
28/08/2017 Duración: 12minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to the podcast No MORE Excuses! Wow! I don't have a case of the Monday's, but it is funny (but not funny) how you can allow one person/thing to throw your day off, eh? UGH! So getting this podcast out always makes me smile! So, my responsibility to you listeners, is helping me reset my day and so for that... I THANK YOU AGAIN for being here, and making me accountable! Otherwise, I would just grab my coffee and say F-IT! LOL! Ahhhhh, see I feel better already! I feel like kicking YOUR booty and helping you get where YOU want to be! But.. it's not fun all the time is it? Last week's podcast was about knowing when to walk away from your Dead HORSE! And sometimes, when you DON'T, you lash out! Realize that it's on YOU my friend! Don't blame anyone else for your mistakes. Especially when people have offered help! In this week's podcast, I refer to a client, who's not necessarily blaming others, he's just about to drown in SUCCESS because of his initial resistance to getting h

Podcast #73: Have You Had Enough?
21/08/2017 Duración: 09minHappy Monday (solar eclipse) Motivation! Welcome back, or welcome, to the weekly podcast NO More Excuses! Have you had enough? But have you given it your all? Have you really tried everything, or is just hard and you don't have the confidence to continue? This week's podcast references a client who walked away from something she poured her heart and soul into. AND lots of money! She realized "her horse was DEAD!" And trust me, she kicked it, left water and food, and drug it behind her for MILES before she walked away. It's painful, but sometimes it IS necessary. And no, this is NOT permission to "give up", "walk away", to call, email, text me and say "Sorry Sandi, life was hard, so I gave up!" No! There's a process to go through before you walk away. And you have to make sure your horse truly is dead before you do. So what came next for her? WOW! By her "giving up shit", she re-evaluated her priorities, became ultra focused, gave her family the time she had always wanted, and now is using her talents and ha

Podcast #72: Is Your "Horse" Dead?
14/08/2017 Duración: 11minHello everyone! Welcome back to Monday Motivation's Podcast: No More Excuses! Thank YOU so much for being here, listening, sharing and continuing to work on you and your business, career, life in general! Business is Business, but it's OURSELVES that screws us all up isn't it?! Yes, clients can bail on us, customers complain, don't come back, friends can hurt our feelings, bosses may pass us over for that promotion, the weather truly may rain on our parade, but in the end, if we aren't succeeding, who's fault is it? If we aren't where we would "like to be", who are you going to blame? Somedays life just sucks and you have to OWN that. It's ok to feel crappy, have a pity party, cry, yell (I like yelling, it's very cleansing!), go work out, do whatever you do, but remember that, it IS ok to "feel" what you feel, just don't LIVE there ok? And remember, sometimes ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! This week's podcast about that. Learning to STOP beating a DEAD horse! Last week I talked about searching for that "magical answer"

Podcast #71: In Search of the Magic Pill
07/08/2017 Duración: 10minWELCOME BACK LISTENERS! Or... WELCOME if this is your first time listening! This is the weekly podcast NO MORE EXCUSES! I appreciate you being here, for SHARING - yes SHARE my podcast, as you never know who needs to hear what I have to say! :) And, you'll be helping me. Please! This week I got a bit more of ME back. Yep, I shined up my pointy shoes and dusted off the 'ol whip as I found my EDGE again. And, well the theme here is NO MORE EXCUSES right? So, what's yours? Last week's podcast was about GETTING SHIT DONE! With NO more excuses. So, what did you do to help YOU? If you have NOT yet listened, please do so (podcast 70) and then email me to let me know what you HAVE done. OR... are you still looking for it? The "easy way"? For "IT" to come to YOU? For the MAGICAL ANSWER. That one thing that makes everything seem to fall into place. That special MAGIC PILL? It's out there... but where?! In this week's podcast I talk about the "Web-Md'ers! Those of you (well, ok we have ALL done it at some point in ou

Podcast #70: It's Time to Make Sh*T Happen!
31/07/2017 Duración: 12minWelcome back to Monday Motivation's podcast: NO MORE EXCUSES! Yep, last week snapped me out of my "soft" phase! 2017 is over half over, what are you going to do about it? Lay down and take what you can get or will you make adjustments, start, restart, and/or STOP some habits to make SHIT HAPPEN?! As I asked last week: "How Badly Do You Want 'IT'?! It's up to you. But there's also no time like the present, because, well, we only have yesterday, and there is no "perfect" time. RIGHT?! Last week's podcast was about being a DREAMER vs. a DOER. What's your big dream that you've never talked about or perhaps think it will manifest on it's own? If you didn't email me, do so now! What are you so afraid of? It won't happen? Someone will say it's a crappy idea? We've talked about that in my podcasts as well. I work with clients regularly on this topic. So, listen in this week, and let's GET GOING! It's time! Yep, it's time to make shit happen, get OFF YOUR ASS and do something your FUTURE SELF will thank you for! Wh

Podcast #69: Are you Just a Dreamer?
24/07/2017 Duración: 09minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to the podcast NO More Excuses! Thank you for continuing to come back week after week and for sharing my podcasts with others! It's exciting to have you listen in and to take strides to grow both personally and professionally! Last week! WOW! Such a weird week. It started with a funeral, so that's never good, but from that funeral came some words of wisdom, and she was just 17 years old. (I know cue the song!) She was definitely wise beyond her years. Last week I had some ideas come together, I reached clarity on other things and yes, changed a habit I had fallen into! (Refer to last week's podcast #68 to listen about changing habits!) This change in habit WILL HELP ME achieve a goal of mine! How about you? What have you changed or WILL YOU change to help YOU achieve a goal? Remember: Habits ARE the KILLER of goals!!!! The thing is, and what I talk about in this week's podcast is determining HOW BADLY YOU WANT to ACHIEVE that GOAL! I hit that wall of frustration and ma

Podcast #68: HABITS. The Silent Goal Killer!
17/07/2017 Duración: 14minHi Everyone! Welcome back to the Monday Motivation Podcast: NO MORE FRIGGN EXCUSES! Yep, it's gonna be like that! You IN or Out? Only you can decide! Wow, I should have said THAT in my opening of my podcast! The last few podcasts have been about checking progress, making adjustments and this week in the podcast I talked about breaking down that goal, to make sure they aren't really "tasks associated with a goal". (Refer to podcast #41 for more about that!) ... and then seeing what HABITS, yes those pesky things you do, or should do, regularly to help you ACHIEVE your actual GOALS! What can you do to change a habit? What can you do to CREATE a habit? I read a quote recently about habits, it was something like, "if you don't like your habit, love something BIGGER than it". Which is great as sometimes we don't like "having to" exercise, make healthier choices, make those follow up phone calls, network, ASK, etc... but it's a necessary evil isn't it? If we LOVE the goal that we want to achieve, that can be your

Podcast #67: Where Are You?
10/07/2017 Duración: 09minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back and THANK YOU for coming back, or for being here for the 1st time and then next week you'll be back for more! NO MORE EXCUSES, that is! LOL! Alright so last week you realized how awareness creates growth. I heard from a few people, and discuss it in this week's podcast about their moments of awareness and how it's helped them relieve frustrations and allow for growth both personally and professionally. What about YOU? Listen in to podcast #66 and then email me if you haven't already! But for this week, after you've given yourself a "self high-five" for your awareness, your successes, it's time to look at WHAT'S NEXT?! Like the title asks... "Where are you"? Not location (although I do like hearing where you are listening to this!) but I mean in regards to your GOALS! Nope, it never ends does it?! If it did, you would end as well! So, let's do this! How can you apply this new found awareness to other areas of your life? With the year half-over, do you know if you'll finis

Podcast #66: Are You Aware of You?
03/07/2017 Duración: 11minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back and THANK YOU for listening, sharing the podcast link and continuing to help yourself grow! Where are you? Not in your life... physically? The podcast downloads have grown, but I don't know where you are! I'd like to hear, so please post in the comments section or email me and let me know what City/State/Country you're in! And now... whether you understood it or not, the last few weeks of creating lists, thinking about and writing down what you need help with, who you know... all that crap you probably didn't do :) ... are about GROWTH! (If you're a first-time listener) go back to Podcast #62 and start there!! The lists were to get you to understand "what" you needed help with which would help you achieve a goal. And while you're achieving something, learning, aren't you GROWING along the way??!! Every time you share something on Facebook for someone, every time you share my podcast link... you're helping (me) reach more people, GROW my listener list, achieve a goal. You

Podcast #65: How May I Help YOU?!
26/06/2017 Duración: 14minWelcome back to your Monday Motivation podcast: No More Excuses! THANK YOU for coming back week after week... after week and listening. AND for sharing the podcasts! It means a lot to me, and it's MY motivation to continue. The last couple weeks have been about your needs, expectations, and even disappointment as a result of who and how you ask for help. This week I dive even more into the WHY. The result of creating a good "team/tribe/staff". It's not been easy, and I've had plenty of disappointment in my life! But was it from expecting too much or was it that I had asked the wrong person?! Creating a solid "tribe" is different from your personal and professional life. You don't confide in your staff about your personal problems, do you? You don't tell your CPA, who you LOVE and does a fantastic job about how your best friend pissed you off... do you? Ya save that for your hairdresser! LOL! So making sure that you continue to LOOK AROUND, pay attention to who shows up in your life, and how... and for what

Podcast #64: Expectations Are Really Assumptions
19/06/2017 Duración: 10minWelcome back (unless you're a 1st-timer!) to The Monday Motivation podcast: No More Excuses! Thank you AGAIN for listening and for SHARING this podcast! And... for working on YOU. You're here for a reason and I'm always interested in why! What is it you hope to get from listening? I know I learn as I'm writing and recording the podcasts. I "practice what I preach" and it's become clear to me even who I can depend on, who I need to just give tasks too and who has the ideas. And yes, even those who I know I won't ask to help again. And sometimes you learn the hard way as people SAY they'll help. Because they don't know how to say NO themselves. So did you get disappointed? Did you decide to just "throw in the towel" and give up? This week's podcast is a reminder for you to, once again realize you have to JUST DO IT! You have to make the lists, you have to understand what's missing, what you need before you can identify who to ask to help. You have to understand how they "show up" in your life and be honest. L

Podcast #63: How Far Can You Go Alone?
12/06/2017 Duración: 13minHappy Monday Motivation! Welcome back to my weekly podcast: No More Excuses! I appreciate you being here and coming back week after week... after week! 63 of them actually! I also appreciate you sharing my podcasts, the links, the message and I get excited watching the download numbers and seeing the # of shares... so for that, THANK YOU! This week is about a realization I had. Well the big one was learning to ask people, like you, to share my podcasts! You had no idea I need you to do that did you? Some people may on their own, but I REALLY wanted to increase, and still do, my listener reach. And, doing it alone, my "reach" is limited. So, I made a list of people to ask to share, and then I also started asking in my emails, and podcasts like I am now! And the next time was recently with an event I did back in March. I realized, once again, my network and "reach" is only as big as me. So, AFTER making my LIST of what I needed, what was missing, I ASKED people to help. I got off the crazy train, paused and not
