Welcome to the BeastNet brought to you by the Beasts Obstacle Course Racers! This is a podcast for people who love obstacle course racing, obstacle centric workouts, rucking and endurance. We started this group because we were always looking for people to run obstacle course races with and wanted people to train with. This group runs OCRs and other races in the Pacific Northwest as well as runs monthly OCR training workouts, endurance events and more. We are all about supporting each other, creating a relationship based, family feeling and not just being the largest regional team in the Pacific Northwest but serving our team members as well. Our team spans across: OR, WA, ID, MT, WY and BC Canada - with some members all over the states and world!

Frontline is an event put on by a current and former Law Enforcement Officer. Ed recently retired from law enforcement and the other race director is still active. Ed explains why they do this race and what it means to him. Boggs and Ed talk about Amanda Sullivan and how she is such an inspiration to Ed and all people she meets. One thing a little different about this race is that is you can donate during registration for racer scholarships to allow more LEO, active/retired Military and other first responders to be able to run this race for free. Becasue of COVID they have to keep the numbers lower, but Blue Mountain uses RFID on the resort and they been able to use this as a COVID precaution tracking program. Racers will be staggered and the RFID will help to track and ensure they are in compliance. Unlike Spartan this is a VERY limited event. 225 racers maximum. Aaron got to run the Pro course and step onto the podium for 1st place age group. Then he went back out and ran the Blitz open. They discuss some of the safety protocols and the overall race experience. Aaron and Lisa also review what got him into OCR after years of road racing and how his training style changed for OCR. Completing the Savage Race on July 25th was his 70th OCR.
