Episode 224 More Heart Than Scars builds their Rig
27/07/2020 Duración: 46minToday Brother Boggs gets a chance to catch up with More Heart Than Scars. Originally the BeastNet team had planned on talking about the Zack Attack race on July 18th 2020 with Joey McGlamory but he had to cancel last minute. Then Joey suggested we just get everyone on the show from MHTS HQ since Joey was headed down to help build the rig that was donated to More Heart than Scars by Mike Rowe and the team from Returning the Favor. So instead of talking only about Zack attack, we ended up with Zack Paben, Wendy Jenkins Paben, Erika Bogan, and Joey checking in on Zoom about the build and the race season remaining. Now, because this was a Zoom episode with 5 people talking, it may be better served to watch the episode here: https://youtu.be/wgziiAdNWDU A couple of the highlights include talking about the Scenic City Mud run and Celtic Warrior Challenge that are both put on by Julie Wolf, More Heart Than Scars is the official charity recipient of proceeds from Celtic Warrior. This is a fun episode where Don and Tatianna talk about all sorts of things including integration with "normies" and still having friends who can drink. They discuss how OCR has become a new addiction and how 2021 is going to be a huge year. Episode 211 BeastNet takes on the Ultra Virus and Spartan Ultra Virtual. AFTER the Race recap
08/06/2020 Duración: 59minBeastNet Officially lost their minds. Mike, Don, Charity, and Ryan decided to see how many 5 miles loops they can get done in 12 hours. After the race They all get on Zoom to discuss the race, what worked and what didn't, and how they finished Mike and Don got 31 miles done with the help of Christine and Virginia fo rthe entire event. A whole cast of race family came from all around the State to join for a lap or two. Charity finished with 35 miles, and Ryan the overachiever knocked it out of the park with 5 miles. Granted Ryan was the MC for the event on their ZOOM race party pit. Since this was an ORM event, we figured we would record this episode in tribute to their style. Recording the whole time and send it up with minimal edits. This race was allot of fun and it sounds like the BeastNet team in the South Sound of Washington has already committed to the next ORM UltraVirus event on July 18th. When these four get together things get crazy, funny
