Mostly for historical reasons we know little about Magic and Witchcraft from the part of the world that was once hidden behind the Iron Curtain. Born in the Soviet Union, Natasha Helvin is an occultist, hereditary witch, and priestess in the Haitian Vodou tradition, as well as an avid scholar of other magical traditions. She learned the ancient Slavic secrets of magic and healing from her family and, as a child, often saw her grandmother and mother use magic in their everyday lives to help neighbors and friends. From October 31st to November 3rd, 2019, the second edition of OCCULTURE BERLIN took place, this year at the Anomalie Art Club. Everybody was already full of praise about the 2018 edition, but this year the organizers went even further and created an exciting and extraordinary event.  THOTH-HERMES is happy and proud to be Media Partner of that great conference. Here is his text: "My journey in to the realm of Hermetism, and more specifically Hermetic alchemy, began in the mid-80s when I first came across the works of Carlos Castaneda. They were the first books that presented to me the concept that systematic and complex systems of esoteric training existed from time immemorial. An idea that I had never come across previously.
